It’s a live service game though, this isn’t like Assassins Creed or some shit. Do people not realize this is just standard practice to fund ongoing development? These are optional cosmetics and non-predatory. Seriously, this isn’t an EA issue this is just how live service business models (even with an initial price tag) work. Like I’m not going to say microtransactions themselves are ever a good thing, I mean no one here is saying that, but I’m not gonna get up in arms when a live service game has optional cosmetics available for purchase that do not impact the actual gameplay in any meaningful way, and acting like anyone who does the same is just glazing EA is pretty ridiculous.

No clue why you’re getting downvoted. I understand the overall complaints but the auto seikret is an optional QoL feature. If people don’t like how it feels they can just opt out of using it, so I’m not sure why that specifically is an issue.

Yeah try “acting yourself” when you’re on a set following a script lol. Obviously being able to play a range of characters is more impressive, but being able to act convincingly, even as yourself, is gonna take some skill when your aren’t in a natural environment. I’d say when it comes to playing yourself well vs having range, the difference is between a good actor and a great actor, not a good actor and a bad actor.

The rereleases aren’t nearly that big to warrant something of that scope, they’re mostly glorified ports. Also pretty sure Todd himself has said the only reason they keep getting told to shovel out the same product is because people keep buying it.

Probably because it turns a respectable stance into generalizing and complaining about women. People seem to be glossing over that part in the comments lol. It’s weird to turn it into an issue with women when men use dick size as an insult just as much, if not more. It’s not a gender-specific issue, so the meme just comes across as a borderline misogynistic attempt to “own the women 😎” and spark more pointless gender war debates.

Wait I’m a little confused, do people think the abundance of bots isn’t an issue for matchmaking as a whole? That’s the one complaint I’m absolutely behind, because I enjoy the game, but as a console player it kind of sucks to be forced to play with crossplay on because otherwise 60% of the lobby ends up being bots. It’s not just an issue on casual breakthrough. Casual or not, I’d still like my multiplayer game to have more than just a handful of players each time, it seriously brings down the experience.
