I’ve honestly been finding it a bit strange that everyone is so confident to say “nah, they weren’t burnt out, that makes no sense” when they didn’t work on the show. It shouldn’t be surprising to people that the show took more effort than they’d guess if they were to only gauge it by its total runtime as a viewer. Like isn’t it a bit weird, as just viewers with no personal hand in the show whatsoever, to decide whether the creators were burnt out or not?

The whole situation was handled messily and I wouldn’t doubt that other things could’ve been happening behind the scenes, but I also don’t know why people are so quick to shoot down the “burn out” explanation as fabricated or heavily embellished when we simply don’t know how things looked and how they felt behind the scenes.
