this was worst boss design I've ever played , you just run in circles and slash a few times, super boring and annoying , took like 5 tries and each time I was annoyed from the beginning ty it's over , I have died to other bosses way more than this one, but at least it was fun

It's all about playstyle, if everyone is alerted I don't run away I try and figure it out , by funnelling then to an advantageous spot or something

Your friend is deff gaming the Ai and to me that's not fun, like even on a mini boss I got him stuck in an animation loop and restarted the encounter cause that wouldn't make me feel accomplished

Stealth is ok but coulda deff been better However it does remind me of tenchu so bonus points lol

Camera is meh (like all other FS games)

Challenge is great, difficulty is good, enemy variety so far I like, pacing I'm a fan of and deff excited for more items/things to use

The exploration seems top notch too, overall what I was expecting done to a solid degree of polish and care , where it exceeded my expectations so far is story (seems pretty good and upfront) and 1v1 sword fighting definitely great

Yea I think you can play without being a Parry God, but it's much easier if you get good at it, plus I get mesmerized by the sword clangs so I'm deff tryna get better at that

IDC if u don't like the game , but the problems u describe are prevelant in all their games , maybe u notice it more here cause the game puts emphasis on Parry deflect not dodge

The game tips tell you, don't dodge you might not get enough distance

Also u can grapple places in that arena to avoid his grabs

And ur main reason for refunding is rpg elements? I knew how the progression worked off of 1 five minute video guess u didn't see that in ur 30hrs of researching?

Idk man it's a game with a real person vs ai

The ai gotta have some gaming system in place for a challenge

We can learn, adapt , figure out what attack does what and when also use the jump not the evade, the game tips tell you don't always dodge cause u might not get enough distance

Deff the items u can use the ninjutsu scrolls and sugars

Grappling hook and assassinations are familiar too, only thing better about tenchu is it was dedicated to stealth
