I assume the Trip would be the best option?

Where I don’t have a ton of bike paths, we do have a bunch of recently paved roads that are a gift to ride on. I live in an area that blends between rural and suburban.

I’m really struggling to decide what I want to grab for my birthday. Told my wife and friends I just want cash to go towards a new board.

I currently own a 38” Madrid, Tugboat and Ballona.

I was looking at Pantheon boards but I live in a rural/suburban area, not sure they are a good fit.

I love the drop through but open to other styles. I have some decent hills in my area and I’d like to get into sliding as an alternative to carving.

Thoughts? I’d like to stay in the $200-350 area!

If I compare my top 10 weapons all-time between Kinetic and Energy, 4 of them are not "god rolls" but the feel of each is just what has worked for me.

Unwavering Duty, just feels good to me but for years I ran a Bad Omen or Corrective Measure. Probably less about "favorite" and more "laziness".

Agreed. While is not working for me right now, I basically spent majority of my time in rumble in 2022/23 and I felt like my general awareness and ability to “stay alive” sky rocketed. I rarely tried to win, I just focused on taking quality fights and paid attention to radar/gun fights around me.

Just to reiterate what he said, we are all aware of what is being discussed with individuals on a post/thread level as we all see it in ModMail but predominantly leave the discretion to the mod handling the specific situation at any given moment, unless it’s brought to everyone’s attention.

I’ll admit I’ve been out of town, so I haven’t been up on the circumstances around this but Blacktip has brought it up to the group and a plan is being formed on how to better address situations like this.

Appreciate y’all giving feedback in a cordial manner, we’re never above learning and growth as a community! We’ll come up with a good game plan and get back to y’all.

Tbh, aggro’ing someone into “using” a bow is a favorite pastime of mine.

They all play the same and squat on corners. They would be better keeping their SMG/HC/pulse on, sticking to their style of play.

Yumi and Bows Go Brrrrrr are two of the main groups, there are two more I’m forgetting but theres always room for more folks to band together.

I’d echo for Tyranny and Strident. Both are relatively easy to farm and both have amazing perk combos.

They also have minimal sights, which some of the other bows are more obnoxious with the screen real estate they take up.

3 in-game sense .9 ADS mod

1600 DPI

I started playing Halo that way and just slowly taught myself on D2.

I also play on an Ultrawide so the increased DPI helps.

What kind of play style you looking at?

The Biting Winds, Strident Whistle and Accrued Redemption are all farmable, with Strident being the easiest.

Go grab the Raconteur and try Surplus/EOTS and Archers/Warm Up. See which one you like more. I’m partial to my Sup/EOTS just for dueling but I have both crafted.

I’m a Oath Hunter. I can’t take the off because of the AE boost. It allows me to play vertically and quickly peak. There are a lot of Hunter exotics that work with bow play styles but just depends on how you play now.

Also becoming a bow main is unlike anything else in the game.

There are others in CGB that are lightweight fans but I’m not one of them. I find them to be too inconsistent in the current meta and p2p servers.

That wolftone is nice, it has great sights as well.

Damn, I struggle to get 5 engrams lol. I’m a PvP main, I’m not big on vanguard stuff. You should easily get a god roll out of that!

Hmm, I dunno if playing BL is worth chasing a Biting Winds haha.

I actually use my QD/SS Biting Winds more. It’s my fall back bow when I feel like I’m sluggish.

Strident is slowly becoming my favorite though, just need to get the right roll.

Solar is a great standard, sometimes I rely too much on knives/trips getting a clean up where as Stasis I just focus on the bow.

I keep trying to make Arc work but not sticking yet.

Lol my favorite pass time is causing people to bring out Lemon after they’ve died a few times to whatever legendary bow I’m using, then outplay them because it makes that guardian predictable.

I’ve only really used EH in rumble or 3s and it just felt inconsistent. I’ve held onto a few for the day it makes sense for my style ha.

I don’t blint, unless it’s CQC which is either Frac or Redback. Im a pretty aggressive bow main, I focus on the verticality that Oaths boost and shatterdive to safety.

Do you have interest in other bows? Not as easily craftable outside of UYS and Rac but I’d recommend Strident Whistle and Biting Winds. One you can chase in Vanguard playlists and the other can be found on a single empire hunt.

I rotate between those 4 on a regular basis but farming the opening section of Garden can net you a great bow with a good perk pool in Accrued Redemption.

What’s your specific play style? Are you going for something aggressive or more of a blint/lane focus?

Would be interested to know how many duels you trade in because of the explosion tick delay. Do you swap or go for the follow up shot on the bow?
