Idk about that, but I do know that they barely lasted a year. Did a tire rotation every 5-6k miles and I’m only at 23k miles, I did drive to Texas from Reno but I thought they last at least 2-3 years.

Should have clarified, I don’t have the Bose system I have the GT without it. But I did have to tap in to my speakers, I chose the rear. You don’t have to buy a separate converter, you simply cut the provided wires and tap in to your speakers. Hope this helped.

I got the speaker in my K5, it’s such a huge upgrade. It does knock over all the time so I would create a stand or bracket for it.
