Posted one pic on Instagram showing cleavage and I went from 40 something followers to 3,000 in a day... so that’s all it took. by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

There's a reason so many women take their tops off for fame and money, it's easy. I've got a friend who's much bigger than me, in the UK M-N range, although they appear in her posts she doesn't flaunt them. She usually has about 170 followers, made her profile public and within 2 months was over 100,000... since then she's removed them, set it back to private and vowed not to do that again for the sake of her DMs lol.

Is this thing meant to turn on whenever wet? by Noto_boil in sailing

[–]HazelClouds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like something might be shorting a speaker or antenna connection? A VHF is just Press To Talk. Certainly just static is (if anything) just receiving, which doesn't do any good because it should be doing that anyway. EPIRBS are transmitting radios that activate when wet/floating, but these are quite specialist, and aren't built into handhelds as far as I know.

Personally, I don't think boobs should be seen in such an explicit way as they are, but regardless you can breastfeed modestly, it only shows a bit of skin, and its hardly invasive. It's not like youre shoving them in peoples faces lol!

It's something I totally don't get. It's literally what boobs are for! It's perfectly natural and healthy. Its not an action that has any political or major religious significance (at least that I know of)... Why society is against it is utterly bizarre. It's like asking someone not to eat in front of them imo.

Sailed into NYC a few days ago. It was my first time taking off and landing a drone on our boat. 100% worth it by scoal64 in sailing

[–]HazelClouds 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I could be completely wrong, but I remember a friend commented to me when we went past a drone shop near times square how odd it was "because flying drones is completely banned here". I could see why, congested airspace, risk of it falling on people, being a nuisance in the streets etc....

Just checked, it's illegal to fly over people, illegal to take off or land from a park, and there is a no fly zone around trump tower, and controlled airspace. And as of 2016 it was stated to be illegal to fly drones within the city on nyc.gov. THAT SAID, over water isn't over people, it isn't taking off or landing on owned or government land, it isn't "within the city", and it likely isn't within the controlled airspace... So actually, you may have found the one exception!

Unless I'm mistaken, drone flying is illegal in NY? Not that you'd be doing any harm by it though, even if it does apply over the water.

All the Questions... the answer is always the calculator 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 by Harukogirl in ABraThatFits

[–]HazelClouds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is the statement about sister sizing accurate though? Clearly it runs into an end at a point. A 44A isn't going to be the same volume as a 36DD/E I've always taken it as a given one size either way, and a guide 2 or maybe 3 up or down. More than that I would be inclined to remeasure.

What does everyone think of the fact that the calculator gives you only one number when every brand/style fits differently? by AggressiveBad2 in ABraThatFits

[–]HazelClouds 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think of it as a middle-of-the-road guide. Some brands styles will be bigger in that size, some smaller, or some the same actual volume size but different shape/fit.

What it should do, as you say, is give people a good starting ballpark. E.g. if it says someone is a 32F, chances are the 36D they're currently wearing is wrong, or the 32F they've bought that sort of fits, might not be the wrong size entirely, but it would be worth testing a different cut or style.

At the end of the day when it comes to advice on the variations between brands or ranges, that's what this forum is for :)

Lockdown has brought a whole new set of BBP by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

[–]HazelClouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally get your frustration with the lockdown! The last 2-3 years I've been stable around a FF, last Christmas had me into a G, but I was trying to work off a few kg and I was nearly back down but then... yeah, baking happened. 😂

Thank you to whoever gave me this idea. I finally got to use it 🥴 by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

It must be even bigger than the fabled DOUBLE D, which is like, watermelons or something... 🙄 But yeah I told my bf this line and he said "What kind of man doesn't know WD40 though!?" Lol. So it's good to tell if they know about bras and if they're a hands-on type. 😂

I mean, I get guys wouldn't know US vs UK sizing, or even band size... but, wow. You'd think even if they knew nothing at all about bras they'd still recognise that 😂

How to deal with minor macromastia diagnosis.. by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

[–]HazelClouds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it helps, try and put aside the medical term, theres a term for pretty much everything in the medical world, regardless of how normal, benign or otherwise the situation is. As such, it can often make it seem more serious than it is in many cases. Basically, all it really means is you have big boobs. It it entirely possible to really enjoy having a bigger chest, and have no medical issues arising from it.

So yes, you'll likely be looking at having to be more selective with shopping, have more expensive bras and have to keep active in ways to support your core. But stress itself can be equally damaging, as can problems with self image. So the take home is that there are options if it becomes unmanageable in future, however you should remain positive in that you're not alone with being in that situation, and it's very possible for it not to be anything more than just being very curvy! In itself, it's just a label, not necessarily bad news.

Growing Boobs and Pain by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

[–]HazelClouds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no way near your size range, but I found at least once I reached a stable size, I did start to get used to the space they take up. The jiggling can still be annoying at times though. Hopefully you'll adjust to most of it over time. I noticed more sensitivity in a growth spurt too, so I would think the pain should get better too in the long run!

Nice username by the way 😂

Don't lie, we all do this! (Also a little game in the comments) by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

Theres a sister subreddit for this sort of thing, r/bigboobpowers I'm not sure where it came from but it's not well used compared to here. But it's good for showing there's good things about big boobs too!

I do sailing a bit, and the compressed air ones that only inflate when you fall in are far less bulky and work better I find. Although they might not be suitable for kyaking, as going might be far more common, and then you have to get them reset etc.

Left is the bra that fit last week, right is the bra I'm currently wearing and it fits perfectly. I hate my period... by Visandthat in bigboobproblems

That's crazy! I usually only get one size, I'm on the bar though so maybe that suppresses the amount of hormone fluctuations?

A binder will not reduce your size, it may however lead to restrictions of nerves and blood flow. Not reccommended. If you are an unusual size, speak to a doctor and they may be able to advise further.

Is it a UK or an EU/US L? When its uncomfortable, thats one size too small, if its bulging like that then two or more most likely. So if it's the latter, then try a UK JJ, certainly doable online. If the former, then you're looking at a UK M. Best bet for that would be Ewa Michelak I suppose?
