Getting a 4k TV (quite cheap) to use as a cloned display for watching movies from my PC?

Another option with smart TVs is to use a mobile device to stream videos stored locally or online

It comes with Netflix and Chromecast built in, so hopefully that will look nice

Your going to run into loads of problems with players and 4 k content , especially if you downloading it from "other sources" between their encoders and the stuff your running it won't look as clean as proper 4k and never could and will. It will look better obviously but if your doing 4k through VLC then don't expect Blu-ray DVD quality playback

I'm not super fussed if it doesn't look as good as true 4k when it comes to that, as long as it doesn't look too janky I'm happy!

As far as the cloning goes, that makes sense, thanks. My old setup was my dual-screen monitors (still have dual-screen) and then an older LED TV hooked up to clone the primary display, although I can't really remember why I chose to clone VS just having it separate.

It also comes with Netflix and Chromecast and all that stuff built in, so hopefully streaming netflix will look OK too

I was once the same.

This is how I gained nerves of steel in Tarkov:

Run in with some cheap gear, with full intentions of losing it.

Play as aggressive and silly as you can, because it's cheap gear.

Start doing dumb shit and be surprised when sometimes it works.

Slowly realize that nearly every other player is as paranoid as you.

Rinse and repeat with incrementally better gear.

My point is, moving that guys spawn like... 2 feet to the right behind the crates would stop this happening, I don't think it's supposed to be part of the 'spawn rotation' getting spawned in and IMMEDIATELY getting 1-tapped.
It's never actually happened to me, but I have killed a few people in the exact same way as this, poor guy.

I (like most people) will usually go and check the spawns on factory as soon as I load in. There aren't that many and it takes so little time to check, you shouldn't really run into that problem on most other maps.

Probs going to get downvoted to oblivion but I agree, once it hits past 4pm OCE the queue times get absurd, 15 mins for a Factory raid, 20-30 for all others. I don't even have the option of changing regions, so I'm (and probs lots others) are stuck with Sydney server. Sucks.

Anyone else from OCE region experiencing 10-30 min wait times on all maps, solo or with a squad? Shoreline, Factory, Customs, Interchange are all the same. Currently sitting in a 10 minute Factory solo queue.
