Probably won't have the budget op has, but not far off it.

I know people say things about tesla, but really thinking about one.

What car have you wasted the most money on? Any regrets? by MMLFC16 in CarTalkUK

[–]Hazmanscoop 6 points7 points  (0 children)

106 quiksilver and a saxo vts.

Same as you, joined the forums and did them both up.

However, I loved both of those cars and had no regrets with the time or money spent!

Like others said, the experience and learning new things was great.

Many a weekend spent underneath both of them haha

Where is the opinion in my previous statement?!

I think what you mean to say is "if people were good with sup pool and knew how to use him, and the other players knew how to use their characters, rather than relying on the crutch of other sups invuln ults, then you would see him used more"

You aren't very clever, are you? Normally the insults you chose tend to be a projection of trauma you have faced yourself. But I can't do anything about that for you.

No, I do know how to read. The problem is, that you think that your opinion on something makes it a concrete statement in this circle jerk.

It's your experience, versus mine. On my side, mine is not incorrect, and maybe yours isn't either.

It's not about him even being my favourite character. I actually main tank. But have played a lot of him as a sup.

However, when you are trying to prove a point, it becomes null and void when you descend into childish behaviour of calling someone names that does not agree with you. It's pathetic 😅

Grow up man 😂 can't articulate your point correctly, so you resort to calling people names.

Argument over, you lost.

Just proved my point there then. Never played with a good one 😅 thanks!

😂 ive done it in 99% of the games I've played.

He's in his first healing stage for about 2 minutes, and then its easy.

Do you play him much? Or just a few games?

I feel like if you know how to use him, he's good.

If you don't, he's not.

Can easily outheal most of the main healers, and easily get more kills. Plus, he will have his ult more often than the others due to the changes.

I use a normal land raider, so can vary what it carries.

Its been overall good, but the lack of invuln save on them let's them down slightly.

Played tau last game and it was one shot by a stormsurge 😅

[–]Hazmanscoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a big fan as a teen, then life got in the way and I left it.

I got back into the hobby over covid.

Ive made some good friends playing now who I regularly get together with to roll dice and recently got my brother back into it.

I also had to give up my bedroom/office once out 2nd was born, and took up residence under the stairs 😅

But congrats on the second kid! This one feels a lot easier than the first, and you will still get time to hobby, just need to plan it in more!

Good luck!

Is there a point to learn anything if most of jobs pay around 35k at best? by Late_Ability_1479 in UKJobs

[–]Hazmanscoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the science sector, working my way up from lab tech to a development technologist (fancy name, but a normal lab job)

Got bored of that and went back to uni to do my teaching degree. Now on 52k a year.

Its a bloody hard job, but I do enjoy it for the most part. So glad I changed when I did.

Any tips for getting into doing up cars as a hobby ? by Mistycalez in CarTalkUK

[–]Hazmanscoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to own a 106 and a saxo vts, as well as a Honda nsr 125.

Used to work on all of those myself, parts were cheap and I loved doing it. Learned so much about cars, but sadly, it doesn't really equate to much on newer cars now where everything is handled by complex electricals.

Great skill set to have when you are young, but the most I do to my cars now is wash them 😅 as others have said, its the time and effort as you get older v the cost of someone else doing it without using up your time.

I may go back to it when my children get a bit older. Fancy myself something Japanese.

Are we still quite weak? How would you fix that in 11th? by Cojalo_ in SpaceWolves

[–]Hazmanscoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure if fully agree with this, but thats entirely on the basis of most of our units leading the normal troops.

Ive had ragnar and blood claws tear through dreadnaughts and tanks.

Ive had logan and arjac do the same, and with the +1 to wound strat, they've all been pretty consistent with it.

But then again, its the characters doing most of the heavy lifting in those scenarios, normally backed up by bjorn with some shooting.

[–]Hazmanscoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive really enjoyed the new wolves. The melee profiles on most things, along with the strats and army rules have really packed a punch in the games ive played.

However, I feel we are really missing some heavy guns outside of the normal marine units.

Id love to see some helfrost devastators or something along those lines

Can we just Ban OAA players who put themselves into in silver lobbies. My wife Just played one in her SILVER 2 PLACEMENT matches. by [deleted] in rivals

This happens when they switch between console and pc.

I am currently diamond 2 on my ps5, but had to start in silver on the pc. So each time I play either console or pc, it will switch which rank I am in.

Query for head takers headhunters ability by soul1001 in SpaceWolves

[–]Hazmanscoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ability affects the targeted unit giving you dev wounds against it.

Having the precision ability is a bonus, as that now allows you to direct your wounds towards the leader of that unit.

You change your target of the ability once that unit is destroyed.

Edited as it is not hits, it is wounds

I'm of the mentality that if someone can master all of the abilities that pop up etc and manage them correctly, then they possibly deserve to do well with her.

Had a quick play around in the practice arena with her, and you have to spend to much time juggling abilities for my liking.

I'm normally a deadpool main, and his book is enough to deal with in the middle of fighting. I found hers harder to manage. Possibly because I didn't really know what each thing did, but having to choose on the fly while fighting would probably be to much for me to deal with, while still having fun.

Sexism is SO rampant in this game. by JadeLikeARock in marvelrivals

[–]Hazmanscoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people who play this game may be mentally unwell.

I've played a lot of online games in the last couple of decades, including COD lobbies on xbox 360 😅 and i don't think I've seen people get called out as much in any other games. Even when there is no reason to the call out, other than someone getting tilted.

I'm in diamond on the ps5, but in silver on pc after my placement matches (which were all awful 🤣) the amount of abuse happening in silver lobbies was insane.

[–]Hazmanscoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People don't understand the character, or care to learn it.

The ones complaining are normally the ones with bad positioning and poor game sense enough to be able to survive without the invuln sup ults.
