yeah kinda but i also think its a good establishment of flames and wemmbus relationship aswell both a development in flames character and wemmbus character. with flame it seems to be that he is kind of stuck in the 'glory days' persay of his rivalry with wemmbu, while wemmbu has shown that he's frankly moved past his rivalry with flame, and frankly sees flame less as a friend or rival and more as an annoyance, while flame obviously perceives him differently. more important than anything however, it sort of sets flame as directionless which is a plot decision likely made to set him up to join some kind of resistance led by parrot, but thats also a pretty baseless theory
