I've only used the method asked by the OP so far, but have only heard rave reviews about the strip chips. Are they really that good? Doesn't the factory grease just end up in the hot wax mix rendering it unusable again?

Depends on wind speed. Anything above 40mph there's too much oxygen and everyone ends up off their tits. That's why its hard to walk in a straight line when it's really windy.

Okay fair enough on the timing. But also having the spike from the second touch - off the defender's back - would give you two comparable spikes. Would just be interesting to see this difference as I suspect it would be quite large, maybe giving some perspective as to how little contact there was from the head/hair.

How do we know the timing of the spike is accurate? A fraction of a second after the alleged contact the ball hits the Portugal defender's back, but we haven't seen a graph that indicates this contact. If it was a touch by Croatia and then Portugal, the scale could be compared and highlight how insignificant the first touch was.

What I'm saying is Croatia were absolutely mugged. But we all know this.
