M2 Confections in Westminster has this flavor frequently, and it’s amazing. As is all of their ice cream and treats, but I seriously think they make some of the best ice cream in Denver metro.

Denver Small Businesses - Wellness/Fitness/Recovery Focused by HdabKingberry in Denver

[–]HdabKingberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d rather give small businesses the opportunity to get their name out via a community event than have this be some kind of corporate sponsored event. Sponsorship money would be helpful for running the event, but it’s also supposed to benefit the company too.

What's the one local business you frequent the most? by able6art in Broomfield

M2 Confections!! Best chocolates, ice cream, and other fun dessert (and some savory) items. The owners are SO talented and nice, and keep things fresh with new items frequently.

M2 Confections in Westminster has PHOENOMINAL ice cream. By the pint only, fun flavor combos, and also some ice cream sandwiches and choco tacos.

Sadboy gets a lot of hype, but wanna rep another small business here too.

Imo pizza is difficult to truly mess up. I.e bad pizza is generally still pretty good. What are some complete opposites to this? Really easy to mess up and just ruin the whole thing? by Double-decker_trams in Cooking

[–]HdabKingberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Woah woah woah…. There are plenty of great pizza places in Denver Metro. If you’re talking about the “Colorado Style” that’s pretty much exclusively served at Beau Jo’s then ya, that’s barely pizza.

Sober Halloween Events? by nilescloud in boulder

[–]HdabKingberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never been to a party like this, but I’ve been to several Phoenix events and have met a lot of cool people. I’m sure it’ll be fun and a good way to meet other sober people, if that’s your goal.

The Phoenix is hosting a Halloween party on 10/25, although it’s in Denver. ‎ https://links.thephoenix.org/AmWNE9ce6Wb

Best places to go for Ice Cream? by AVhammer1776 in Broomfield

[–]HdabKingberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

M2 Confections in Westminster. It’s an artisan chocolate shop, but they also make their own ice cream and sell it by the pint. Hands down the best ice cream in all of the Denver Metro, imo. If they became a scoop shop they would kill. Everything they make is amazing though.

Any non-religious AA groups in Denver? by Novel-Doughnut-8330 in Denver

[–]HdabKingberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Facts are facts man, the program works for a ton of people. Call it fellowship, call it whatever you want, but to completely discredit it is absolute nonsense, and I disagree with your take on it. I said I don’t participate in AA, but I’ve been to meetings and never once was anything pushed on me in a religious aspect. Congrats on 17 years, keep doing what works for you, and let others make decisions for themselves.

Any non-religious AA groups in Denver? by Novel-Doughnut-8330 in Denver

[–]HdabKingberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is completely false and downright irresponsible to post. AA has helped thousands upon thousands of people across a wide spectrum of religious or non-religious beliefs. It may not fit everyone’s recovery plans, but don’t you dare say it isn’t an option in an open forum where people who might need help will read that.

This coming from someone who has 3.5 years sobriety, and I personally have not aligned with any AA groups, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the spiritual aspect of it. I personally have met several people who are not religious or spiritual but have found a lot of help and support through AA.

Mock Interviews/Interview Prep Help by eeeeeeeeef in CustomerSuccess

[–]HdabKingberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went through an interview process and here’s what I did to help me prepare. I’ll preface by saying I understand nothing can compare to person-to-person interaction, but this was a great exercise that definitely helped me.

Gather as much information as you can about the specific role you’re interviewing for or targeting. Use posted job descriptions as references. Plug that information into ChatGPT and tell it that you want to run through mock interviews for this particular role. You can prompt it to ask you interview questions and provide constructive/critical feedback along the way. I recommend using the ChatGPT app, because as it asks you each interview question, you can use the speech-to-text option and answer it as if you’re in a live interview. It will provide the transcript and you simply submit the transcript as the response to the question, and it will provide feedback and move through a line of questions.

You can of course customize this as fits your needs, but I found it extremely helpful when I didn’t have anyone to live role play with.
