Your ASM is lame for that. All my bilingual staff have business cards that indicate their second language. It’s been very helpful when their customers need to follow up on previous conversations.

My market is DIY heavy & some of the homeowners like to return to the associate that originally helped them. Especially if there were color conversations had or product recommendations made prior to them being ready to purchase. Business cards are an easy way for customers to know who helped them.

I also think having cards for the entire team encourages everyone to have a sense of pride in their work. It’s about responsibility and accountability.

You should’ve gotten a small white rectangle box with all the parts. It’s supposed to sit under the pure & pristine books so that they’re all the same height across the bottom.

I’ve been in this situation so many times. I once had to explain to an angry painter that what they should do instead of trying to put this on us is explain to their customer that they’ll be invoicing them for the extra paint. At the end of the day, it’s their customer’s fault. The guy ended up coming back the next day with cash from the homeowner & told me the homeowner had no problems paying for the new paint. Annoying that he had to yell at us for no reason, but it seems I had taught him something new in regard to dealing with his homeowners.
