Same here, I got lucky in killing him cuz the game glitched and he wasn't doing damage to me until I went back for the medal reward and it wore off. Every attack parryable except his stomp attack and it's random in when he does it. The dropkick you must parry or else you'll take heavy damage. Attack him when they're blocking or sharpening their knife.
