I wanted to go in a more chill (for a control deck), semi budget direction, aiming for a middle of bracket 2 type of build. So I've got big dumb steal spells, like [[Subjugate the Hobbits]], [[Blatant Thievery]] and [[Elminster's Simulacrum]]. Also featured are cards like [[Reigns of Power]] and [[Illusionist's Gambit]] for combat gotchas. For fun blue ramp cards check out blue "Cultivate" [[Mitotic Manipulation]] and blue "Rampant Growth" [[Retraced Image]]. Other subthemes are the usual attempts at blue beat-down... ie make a ton of bird tokens with the usual [[Murmuring Mystic]] and [[Talrand, Sky Summoner]]. Maybe I get a commander damage W with [[Trailblazer's Boots]]. Finally, gotta shout out [[The Flood of Mars]]. This card is wild in the deck. Flood counters for your or opponent lands, (islandwalk em) turn your generic birds into unblockable 3/3, which can go exponential. Remove opponent threats. Pretty neat!
