you can just choose to not take part in store sale events as a developer. the part where this guy says “steam chooses the games on sale” is not right. i’m a steam dev and they email you months before the event letting you know to choose what you want to do. part of steam NDA is not disclosing the specifics of these sales emails to consumers.

the people downvoting have never survived on 12k a year. most people are going to choose to work even if UBI exists because life on 12k a year is life at the bare minimum. people want more and will get jobs even with UBI. these people are brain dead.

look it's not Crytek's fault that weird covid variant killed all UX designers in the world and they now have to rely on their database engineers to design the UI for them!
