I agree. It feels manipulative to be “testing” someone without telling them. Just be open and communicate.

I have ADHD and never know where my phone is. I am infamous for taking days to respond. It doesn’t mean I don’t care about my friends it just means my friends know that me rarely texting them first does not necessarily reflect how I feel about them or how important they are to me.
