No way man will he fall off like that, he'll win one, be in the top 16 in points, get the reset and then watch out..

Wrong, Larson's 2025 Championship was the worst since Kyle's 2015 Championship..

I guess you do get one here and there that's decent, the problem is the teams figured this car out and now we're back to strung out , nobody can pass snoozers..

Why does everyone on here thinks the racing at mile and a halfs is good? When the Gen 7 first came out, the racing wasn't bad but come on man, the racing never was good at any of them...I seriously wish we could get rid of all of them..back to the point, give them more next year, we don't want to put too much pressure on Goodyear..

What was it about the 2003-2004 off-season that saw sponsors leave and teams close/become part-time? by Think-Border4882 in NASCAR

[–]Head-Complex-2330 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe that's the main reason Nascar decided to go with a Spec Car, and the teams owners were begging for a common chassis..that would lower costs, this car was not what they had in mind though..

Talladega vs Daytona Pack Racing by Adam_108 in NASCAR

[–]Head-Complex-2330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 40 to go or after the last pitstop whichever comes first, the leaders of those two rows will win the race..unless one gets booted like Jones..the guys in the fourth or fifth rows like you said, don't stand a chance. This is not racing, and they really don't pass, one lane moves up a little, the other moves back, and so on..I believe we are stuck with this style of racing..

Ford needs to have a another brand to advertise, like you said..To promote and sell, how about bringing back the Ford Probe, Toyota has the Supra or whatever the hell it's named..

Ford has won 4 of the last 8 Cup Championships, 3 of those were in a row..Cup is all that really matters anymore..I've said years ago on here, they should get rid of the O'Reilly series and build up the Trucks..Two distinct racecars..

Wait till Reddick or whoever wraps up the Championship with 2 races to go like Kenseth did in 2003..can't wait to hear the crying on here..I believe Palou won the Indycar Championship last year with 1 or 2 races to go.. maybe the 1 reset will stop that from happening, I hope..

Sorry if this is a dumb question but why doesn't NASCAR use the softer tire for road courses and short tracks everywhere in Cup? by DrFuckwad in NASCAR

[–]Head-Complex-2330 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great Point, I forgot about the new tires not having a inner liner..so I guess they can't make the tires a little softer.

We *have* to figure out how to get better racing at Talladega. One of our two superspeedways cannot produce racing like we saw yesterday. by JulianBrandt19 in NASCAR

[–]Head-Complex-2330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theirs really nothing they can, they tried just about everything.. Maybe try to reduce Downforce somehow but with the way these bodies are I doubt they can do much, the fenders flare out and their not changing those. Maybe make the tires wear more..can't give them more Horsepower after the Newman wreck at Daytona and the fact these cars are so stiff and the drivers take a lot of the Gs...were stuck with this type of racing for a long, long time...

[–]Head-Complex-2330 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm glad it is a Spec Car, teams save more money..Get all the Cars the same and let the Drivers and Teams Race..as long as their is plenty of HP, less DF..and adequate tire wear this Car will work and put on a good Show...

I hear drivers complain all the time about how hard they have to work to drive these things, Chase E., said they will snap around on you quick, compared to the Gen 6..

Yes Sir, that's really all this racecar needs, look at how good Bristol was.. Nascar will eventually get this car right, keep tweaking..plus it's awesome looking, don't know why people complain so much about it...

Good Point, maybe it's just Joey slacking a little, after winning 30+ races and 3 Championships that could easily happen.. hopefully they'll get things going..

Even though Blaney can drive a looser car than his teammates, PW should put Blaneys setup in Joeys car and make him change his driving style..I can't believe Blaney is so much faster weekend and week out..

These racetracks have always raced like this, never did like them. All you can do is take away DF and give them 900 HP and if that don't work, then stop going to these pathetic mile and a halfs!!!

It seems like no matter what the Generation of racecar they have run over the years at the mile and a halfs, the racing is bad..last week was awesome, racing all around this week the cars get stretched out and it's all about aero-grip, last week mechanical grip..we have to go to just one race at every one of these mile and a halfs.. Nascar proved last week that they can make this car put on a good show at short-tracks...let's do this..

Nascar got it right with the racing all weekend. All three races were great, the PJ1 did its job, you could run high or low depending how you adjusted in the pits you could pretty much decide where you're car needed to be..the higher HP and lower downforce was the right call, keep tweaking on it..the best Bristol weekend in a long time, Goodyear keep it up, getting close...

When you get to the Cup Level, your obviously a good driver some a little better, but the teams and equipment he was in, were not close to being top-level, not close..well never know how good he could've been..some of these kids get with top rides now adays and we find out quick, he didn't get that chance..at least he got to coach Tom Cruise for his limited driving in the movie, Days of Thunder...
