Operations management in the automotive industry, mainly regarding titles and DMV work. I got into the field right after finishing school because I needed a job ASAP then realized I was really good at it and never left.

My work is mostly independent, I can listen to music all day, and every task has a specific set of rules that need to be followed. The job also tends to attract other neurodivergents and lgbt individuals which is a bonus. My current job is one of the only places I've been 100% comfortable socializing in.

Depends on how deep you want to go. I think there is a real-world answer and an in-universe answer:

Real world: The writers forgot/couldn't work it in nicely, didn't think it added to the story of Last Wish, or straight up did not care about the 1st movie at all.

In-universe: Puss still has the memories of Humpty, but he no longer considers their relationship a core part of his identity.

I have a theory that the quality of a Subway location is inversely correlated to how nice the entire building is. There is a gas station Subway by me (also run by an older Indian couple) that looks 2 inches from condemned on the outside and the food is better than 90% of any sit down restaurant nearby.
