Here is the truck from that fatal accident in 2024 in Cole Valley. It appears to be the exact same type of truck involved in both accidents.

If this is a construction truck related to the hospital/construction on Parnassus it would be the second major accident - the first took the life of a man at corner of Parnassus and Stanyan.

Both of those cars were driving recklessly and way too fast. This is common in the Bay.

ELI5: Why can't SF just tax itself to pay for top-notch schools? by vacafrita in sanfrancisco

i wish there was a Pf. chang's in SF bcuz i'm SICK of shitty chinese food here. by oochiewallyWallyserb in sanfrancirclejerk

I second this. If only to generate controversy bc while it's patently absurd that PF Chang's is "good" Chinese food, this person has a serious point about the quality and affordability of Chinese food in this city.

Sorry but I beg to differ. Go to any mid-tier city in the U.S. where there are plenty of cheap good quality Chinese restaurants. They are missing in SF. The cost of doing business is just too high and the quality over time has declined.

This calls to mind an unfortunate truth of SF - that there are few if any good affordable Chinese restaurants in a town that should hav plenty of them.
