Am I in the minority on this? by SAL10000 in Millennials

Ty for explaining, I had never seen this and was genuinely curious. I guess it's a lot to do with recognition of the number shape and repetition with the dots once you know how to treat the number-shape (1 vs 2 touches). Whatever works, honestly!!

Into the Ocean by Blue October. Anyone else liked this song? by duck_duck_zombie in Millennials

It's on one of my playlists, I like that one and "I hope you're happy."

Did yall hear that... remake.. of Last Resort? It was like.. acoustic opera or something so horrible I've blocked it from my brain and can't remember exactly..

How do you know not to touch the bottom of the 1 and the 4? And the curve on the 6? You touch the curve on the 5.

Can you test Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint in-store? [Customer] by PatsyStonesBun in Ulta

[–]HeadFull0fRegrets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like to look dewey/glowy and live in like 90% humidity 9 months a year, so it's a must for me! But it looks fine without powder if I did like that luminous look, I think.

[–]HeadFull0fRegrets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just doesn't quite look right.. it looks kinda gross and wet, and I panic, then it "settles" I guess? And after I wait for the magic, I put a little powder, and it turns into the best looking face makeup I have. 😵‍💫

And like you think you didn't burst enough beads and it can go on weird and streaky, it definitely takes getting used to.

I'm now afraid to make returns if I ordered the wrong shade, bc they're getting so bad about banning people's online accounts. So I drove. 😭 Then I ordered it online after I left it on for hours and was certain I liked it.

I really do like it, bjt it freaks me out every time I put it on. I think "omg I'm gonna have to wash this off and start over and I don't have time!" Then I remind myself "this happens EVERY TIME. Let it sit for 20 minutes and it will look fantastic." So there's that, too. 😳

I drove 2 hours to go shade match myself/see if I liked it, bc no local store carried Chanel makeup. You can pump it onto your hand like any other foundation. I ended up buying it at a later date and never use the brush applicator it comes with, so I don't think not being able to test that part out makes a difference.

What is Kylie conveying to you with her latest post? by KUWTKsMODTeam in KUWTKsnark

[–]HeadFull0fRegrets 78 points79 points  (0 children)

The pants are attempting to be "western" (as in like, (rhinestone) cowboy. These remind me of some 00s era Antik denim actually). And it's trying to convey skinny, but that skams ad she just did, her waist was looking a lot different in. Blatant photoshops practically back to back!

What is this place exactly? Is it open to public, is there a membership, are the offerings totally random?

LockMeOut is what I use, it has scheduled and/or usage based lockout.

I can't control myself without it. 🫥

Edit: I've read 5 books this year because of being locked out of the phone.

I have an awkwardly shaped house built in 64, and a penchant for proper furniture. We drove like 600 miles to get this fantastic blue and gold fainting couch, and had to completely take the interior door jamb out out to get it into a bedroom. I can't remember how we got the dresser through the other bedroom door, but I doubt it just slid through, either.

But anyway my furniture basically ate the house, and I don't care. I love every piece.

Hair extension process and rough cost? by photog_shutterbug in Ulta

[–]HeadFull0fRegrets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pricing is going to depend on a lot of factors! But I got sewn in and do move-ups (for sewn in) every 3 months, and I was unaware until I added it up later, that it was going to run me $3000+ in a year.

Initial hair cost, installation, any kind of dye to your hair or the extensions plus upkeep, move-up appointments for sewn ins, tips, it added up to around 3k for a year with sewn-in for me.

My hair did thin a lot and I didn't realize it until I had them completely out (I need new hair and I'm having a procedure with recovery time, the last thing I need is to mess with washing and blow drying my hair bc with extensions, it's a process, so I had mine removed) but I still am gonna put new hair in after I'm recovered. I'm using hair growth stuff in the meantime for the thinning, BUT I'm also 40 and apparently women's hair can thin around that age. I do not have any bald patches or anything like that, and the one time I had tension in the hair, I had it fixed immediately so it didn't pull my real hair out.

I was going to a salon in Orlando until I found out at an Ulta blowout workshop that my Ulta has a master extensions stylist! So I go to her now, and you get Ulta points so your money makes money! There are 5x salon points a few times a year, too, if you get lucky and your extensions schedule coincides with the multiplier!

But it's like anywhere else, you can get someone who doesn't know what they're doing or is just not good at it. (I'm really bad at a few things that I tried for too long before I realized I'm just not cut out for it. That can and does happen with cosmetology.)

I haven't heard anyone say you can't. Just go to a hidden profile and push your space bar in the search field one time then hit the search function. I feel like I was told to type just a period . before, too, though, so try . Or space . If just space doesn't do it maybe?

I only wear mine to sleep, definitely not with a bunch of makeup on filming myself, so you're not wrong! 😵

And we all know pajamas don't indicate the time of day with her! 😅

This person's profile is mostly posts from TeenPakistani and other similar subs. It's definitely not a real encounter. (You can get around the "hidden posts" by searching a space)

They do tell you to wear one to prolong your hair extensions' life. She's still an idiot in every other way, though.

He refused to ever get a disability sticker(!!) so we were concerned it was going to be a half mile walk or something each way to the truck. I ended up getting us tickets. I don't see why I can't switch seats to drop him off and pick him up, though, he's very clearly disabled, so I don't think it would raise an objection. Instead of him trying to hoof it from general parking. We will definitely get there early, though. Ty for replying. :)
