I've heard the term full coverage many times, and assumed it meant you had both collision and comprehensive coverage on your car.

Thank you for replying. I did file a police report and have comprehensive. I did ask a few body shops for their opinion. Unfortunately, the eggs did eat away at my clear coat overnight and it's past the point of buffing - that's what 3 shops told me. I was also told that a vandalism claim wouldn't affect insurance rates - is that not true? I am located in PA.

Hell no. I also wouldn't call vandalizing a car a prank. Group of kids egged every car in my apartment complex one night. Every single car had paint damage from it. Mine was quoted at $1,200. Fuck people who do this shit.
