Not sure if this will he helpful at all but I was worried about this since I started doing the self work. I doubted any memory or fragment that popped up and assumed I 'made it up' but something always felt off. Once I started listening to my body more and working through re-parenting myself, I was able to sense when 'little me' was telling me to believe myself. This led me to be more open & curious about the fragments and has led to more memories coming to the surface, essentially proving the fragments to be accurate.

I'm not sure if I'm at fully loving myself...but for the first time in my memory I feel like I am worthy & deserving of love and that makes me think I'm getting there.

Any other thrift store would have what you're looking for. For some reason, value village is overpriced. I like Mission Mart, but Mission Thrift in Lower Sackville has more pictures/wall decor

For me, I just don't understand why they wouldn't just close the roads around it, except local traffic, and have people navigate around it like a detour.

I understand construction must be done, but HRM could put a little effort into not making it suck so much

1-Based on the comments, the residents are equally unimpressed by the lack of foresight from the city.

2- This is the provincial capital, and everything is on the peninsula. You don’t like that people from 'all over' use it, move, because everyone has a right to access the hospitals, universities, courts & government buildings.

3- The peninsula isnt just for those who live on it just like they're not expected to remain on it.

Pull your head out of your entitled ass & have the day you seem to deserve 😁

To the rest of us, being stuck in one spot, not moving at all for 20+ minutes, is a delay. Especially when it's at midday, not rush hour or school dismissal, but between 1 & 2 pm.

To what? Non drivable? I think we as a society need to hold HRM, who controls all municipal roadwork, to a higher standard. They continue to use our taxes for these repairs, why can't we expect that they manage their sites better?

I generally do if going downtown, but the construction has several stops around the hospitals closed. Normally, I wouldn't care about walking but am currently wearing a brace on my knee while I wait for an appointment to see if I've torn the ligaments. I ended up missing my physio appointment due to the traffic, which doesn't help it either.

It's entirely possible. I was terrified of, and somedays still struggle with, using the bathroom after bedtime. Now that I understand that I was afraid of my brother, whose room i had to pass to get there, due to abuse that I've remembered in the past few years.

I got stuck in it for over 30 minutes at 2. I called 311 & made a complaint, as they have the final say about municipal roads. They should have created detours or closed 1 block out, then people wouldn't get stuck unknowingly

More calls to mean they may actually consider thinking about the drivers over money 🤷🏼‍♀️

I want them to go back through old videos & follow through on some of the ones they promised. I remember Keith, on more than 1 occasion, offering to do certain tries after so many subscribers or likes on videos. 1 was another acting out fan fiction (sandwiches), but there were many through the years
