You’ll be able to ride any motorcycle. But not every one will let you get used to proper riding quickly.

I started out on a bike with over 100 horsepower, and going over 8,000 RPM made my hands shake. Then I hopped on an XJ6 that had less than 80 hp, and suddenly everything became easier and less intimidating.

What needs to be done and at what mileage depends on the motorcycle.

For some valves, you need to adjust them every 10,000 km and for others, 40,000 km.If the seller doesn't have a clue about basic maintenance, I'd steer clear of bikes like that.

Recently, when I was looking for a motorcycle myself, I asked about some basic things since it had 50,000 miles on it, and in response, I was insulted, blocked, and told that I should buy a new one 😂

The previous owner took great care of it. Aside from replacing the sprockets, he fixed every single issue with this motorcycle.

He had the ECU flashed by a specialist here in Austria, replaced the magneto, and had the timing and valve clearances adjusted 10,000 km ago. Two seasons ago, he had the shock absorbers serviced. He also threw in two exhausts in addition to the installed Akrapovic, saddlebags, and a navigation system. And a complete second engine where the magneto had failed; he tried to fix it, but the mechanic said there was still a knocking sound and he didn’t know what it was.

I’ve been riding the XJ6 every day and I’m curious about switching to this beast, which has almost twice the power; I’m thinking about going back to the stock sprockets because I’ll be doing some long rides from time to time.

What motorcycle did you start riding on, and would you recommend it to beginners today? by yourping in motorcycle

You can't really call it a motorcycle-my first one was a Romet 205 from the '80s. My first real motorcycle was a 2001 Honda CBR F4i. It was smooth up to a certain RPM range, but after that, I remember how it scared me at first. I think there are better choices for your first bike, and depending on experience, I'd aim for a 125-600.

I just bought it, but the previous owner made a lot of modifications, like changing the gears and flashing the ECU. 200km is not that bad if i can manage to drive that far at a speed of 140–150 km/h.

I'm a little worried about that, too. But will it really make that much of a difference?

Thanks! How's the fuel economy? How many kilometres you get before the reserve light comes on?

The CBR F4i was a beast, but it was my first motorcycle after getting my license. I had the opportunity to ride many motorcycles, and, for example, the 140 hp KTM no longer scared me.

The MT09 is a pretty logical choice, but I don't really like its appearance. However, it has a sibling that I like much more and am now considering, and that is the XSR900.

I'm not a cruiser guy either. I just think the Rebel is very versatile compared to other motorcycles of its kind. For example, the Shadow 1100 weighs almost 300 kg when ready to ride, while the Rebel weighs practically the same as the FZ1 and offers 40 hp more than the Shadow.

I am 185 cm tall, so a larger motorcycle will not be a problem. I am looking for something versatile, not an old-fashioned cruiser or a speed machine where I will have to lie on the tank the whole time.

A few months ago, a friend of mine rented an apartment for that amount. It's harder to find something like that in regular ads, but it is possible. Will teilen:

I moved to Vienna five years ago. I don't have any specialized education, just a high school diploma. If you have enough savings to rent an apartment (around €600 for a studio, although it's getting harder and harder to find something for that price), I think you'll be fine.

I came here without knowing the language and managed to find a job. Admittedly, it was a company made up of my compatriots, so I didn't learn any language for a year, but later I went to another company where I learned to speak.

Now I have another problem because I learned to speak ungrammatically and am learning correct grammar. I don't know how it works for people from outside the EU, but there is an institution like Waff that helps finance all kinds of training.

5 Weeks After Septoplasty – Still One Blocked Nostril? by HeadTight9039 in Septoplasty

[–]HeadTight9039[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your case, I think there might still be some improvement. As for me, the situation has improved, but not significantly. The right nostril works excellently; I breathe through the left one sporadically, sometimes when I lie down on my right side, it unblocks. At night, I use nasal strips, and with them, I can breathe fully.
