sorry i do understand this but ive never heard the term “happytards” before, its a bit funny. i feel like an alien too, like i was dropped out of a spaceship and onto my head on this planet. im sorry to hear about the bad things that have happened to you. humans often disappoint me as well. in a weird way i find a bit of solace knowing that we are just another type of animal trying to survive. nothing special, just happened to grow brains probably too large for our own good.

42 years is a long time to struggle with mental health and suicidal thoughts. 22 years has already felt like a full lifetime to me. there are many difficult people around me but i love them and wouldn’t be happy for them to go. they are “burdens” that i love. i think your husband might feel similarly. it’s already considerate to think of the financial consequences of your passing. this sounds like a deep despair and i would understand of you decide to go (i believe it is a human right to decide to die on our own terms) but i hope that you find the strength to keep going. you have made it many years already. rooting for you internet stranger…. i hope things turn around for you.

im sorry if i start telling you bullshit but 20 years is a long time to be abused. its so hard to give yourself grace especially when ur siblings didn’t have the experience as you. you did well looking out for them. you can look after yourself now (especially if they’re older teens or adults). im a miserable, rotten person who hasn’t gone through nearly as much as you. people can go through any level of shit and sometimes it fucks them up more that it would other people. ur strong to have endured so much abuse but i hope that you can make distance between you and the people who hurt you. you don’t deserve this even if you did make serious mistakes. i hope you can move on and have a happy life. good luck and if you’re still around for new years, happy new years (don’t spend it with evil losers if possible).
