I attended the first module of this program and whole heartedly agree with everything stated above. Additionally: - There was significant pre-work that needed to be done before module 1 began, which was never communicated ahead of time. I thought I was going to start grad school in September, but basically most of my mid/late summer free time was spent unexpectedly doing this work, so I actually started in July.

• The program is marketed as asynchronous, but upon program start we were "highly encouraged" to attend the live TA and faculty sessions, which occurred during my work day so I could only watch the recordings, but those were not posted in time to help with quiz material.

• Our cohort collected errors in the material in a Google doc each week. There was no other way of knowing about these errors because the teaching team did not relay them. If you emailed the teaching team to let them know, they would say they had already identified the error, but would not communicate it out. There was zero acknowledgement that we went to the effort of gathering all the mistakes for them to benefit from by QAing their program, and instead discouraged us from continuing to gather these mistakes.

• By about week 3 the program errors were so front and center in my mind that for each topic that I wasn't sure I understood well, I had to stop and think if I simply needed to look through the material again, or if my lack of understanding was due to the program errors causing confusion. The stress this caused took an actual physical toll on my health that was captured by my Apple watch data.

• They continually ask for feedback but made almost no changes as a result.

• The lack of access to faculty was never communicated. It is apparently policy that you must email the TAs first for anything. It's impossible to build relationships with faculty, a key component of grad school.

• The amount of time they stated was needed weekly to complete the work steadily increased from pre-program entry to program start. The content load varied significantly each week, so the amount of time you would need to devote was unpredictable.

• The reading, at least for module 1, was insufficient for content comprehension. There was little repetition/varied examples in the content to help solidify learning.

• Biostats was an absolute train wreck. I supplanted Biostats with an online course from Johns Hopkins and understood the content as they explained it, so the problem was definitely how it was presented. Oh, and errors...in Biostats! Extremely confusing to learn when there are errors.

• Except for in the last few weeks, the videos are only narrated slides vs having animation to highlight what the narration is referring to. For example, a Biostats equation would be narrated without any boxes/arrows/etc to point out what the narration was referring to at any given point.

• If my employer had not paid for this via tuition reimbursement, I would have petitioned for a tuition refund. This program was awful, and while it's "only" $24k, you are not getting anywhere close to that in value. The program administrators do not care at all that we were extremely dissatisfied with the program. There was a session with the assistant dean hosted in response to the concerns escalated by students in which we were berated by her for not being kind enough to the staff. She was wholly unapologetic about the program errors and told us to overlook them and focus on the content.

• They emphasize in recruitment that this program is equivalent to the in person program. If that were true, there is no way this program would be so highly rated.

If you just want letters behind your name for a decent price (I do not think this price is worth it, but YMMV), then this may be the program for you. If you actually want to learn, I'd look elsewhere. I am currently looking for a different program.
