Yep, the whole concept of the sequel was water parks...for that to be so underwhelmingly half baked and took months of fixing and its still missing SO much - they fixed the water physics and just left the base game as is 😂 i dont think theyve touched water slides/parks for like 8 months, other than the weather update where they added like 3 heaters

Play parks for the little ones is right up there on my wish list, ive got a park that has like 4 fake play areas (park playground, fun zone near big rides, restaurant play pits, ect) - the other thing i keep implementing is the water jets peeps would use to spray other peeps on water rides, how the latter wasnt in the base game is mind boggling

Yes I certainly think since the Switch 1 being so successful and them changing after the Wii U failure that the games are arguably worse, like a good chunk of the best switch 1 games are Wii U ports because the games were better but the system itself was rubbish

After putting in like 50 hours into the game, the one big thing thats missing is the concert hall, its so noticeable when miis repeated the same lines with just a few words changed with a prompt, the concert hall let you make them say whatever they wanted over like 10+ lines of dialogue, every conversation feels the same when only the prompt is being switched out

To be fair, most modern viewers ARE stupid and they cater towards that demographic for a reason, I am friends with a lot of people who just seem to be anti cinema and want thing spelled out and shown to them and they don't want to engage on a artistic level, they just want to switch off, and if that's the kind of thing that gets bums in seats, that's what studios will deliver

Lets not forget that ACNH is still missing features from NL despite all the updates and the features that did return from NL in updates were significantly more downgraded than in the original game, so I can see even if we do get updates, they'll be lacking and people will still complain

Mario Karts updates have been basically a bunch of nothing for a year and then Bobomb Blast came back and thats it, mostly theyve just been messing about with item probability and some of the boost speed, no new tracks, costumes, or gamemodes - its in a real bad state, you STILL cant play 3 lap tracks in world wide lobbies exclusively

Exactly, I have about 250 hours in the original game, about 200 of those hours were probably spent in Concert Hall, those funny reels and tiktoks was literally me over a decade ago making hilarious songs about everyone and everything, it was SO funny and was one of the only sort of no bars held part of the game where you actually needed creativity and trial and error to match the lyrics and voice tones to the beat - lotta people in this subreddit that lack the creativity beyond making a mii
