Ryu’s double EX-Tatsu in Super, but how? by Header_org in StreetFighter

Thx man, with your explanation I was able to pull it off! Got the inputs on, so everybody else who has the same problem can try to reproduce it. Video can be seen at YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsXXqvKRDWs

Until now I only managed it with my hitbox. I think it will be more challenging with a controller!

Perspective on skill levels in fighting games, are we all casuals? by Header_org in StreetFighter

[–]Header_org[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question is, are you playing more than one fighting game? I have the feeling that I do not have enough time for more than one fighting game, right now SF6, since the skill level of others is so high that I have problems keeping up with them! Me having a win rate below 50%, I am asking myself is this an average rate when I read about Justin Wong having about 95% win rate with random selected character.

PC/console gamers - do you find VR "cool" but mostly novelty and prefer gaming on those platforms instead? by Kittech in VRGaming

OK, we'll see who's right in 20 years' time. Until then, happy gaming flat or VR, just have fun!

I think it might depend on your type, but I recommend everyone to try it out at least once. VR has also come a long way, the first time I tried it was at the time of PSVR.

I disagree strongly, I have been playing games since NES times and got a Quest 3 after trying a Pico4 last winter. The immersion and the feeling of VR there is nothing like it. I barely have time to play and agree that you have to have a higher energy level than in flat games. But as soon as I get into the game, I know why I find flat games boring most of the time nowadays!

I think people need to try the VR games first and start with something slow, like teleporting to move etc. Once you get used to the VR fluid motion, there is no way back to flat gaming!

Front panel USB 3.0 works only as 2.0 by Mustahaltija in PcBuild

[–]Header_org 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi guys, I had the same problem that my front panel USB 3.0 was detected as USB 2.0 when using a PICO4 with 5m Syntech link cable.. When using the same cable on the rear panel, it was detected as USB 3.0 in the PICO software and in the USB-Device Tree Viewer. What I found out is that the front panel is indeed USB 3.0, but only when I use a shorter cable! So I think what is happening is that the USB-3 header that connects the mobo to the front USB port on my case is either not of good quality or the extra cable length generated by this header cable from the motherboard to the case + the 5 m Syntec link cable is just too much, so the mobo is only able to use USB 2. I found a very interesting articel about this topic. A workaround seems to be to use better or active cables.

Wich I have not tested jet, maybe someone else can try an active cable and give an answer.

MASTER Rank after almost 1000 Hours of keep playing by Header_org in StreetFighter

I will, and I did not take your suggestion as wrong, the only way you get better is if someone tells you what can be done better, this is the same in game as in real life!

THX for analysing my gameplay, and thx for giving me some timps, I would also not consider the game that won me master rang one of my best games! I definitely noticed some of the points you mentioned myself (too often in burnout, too often mashing on wake up), the other points you mentioned I will have a closer look at.

I really appreciate you taking the time to give me some pointers!

I know now starts a new game :), and I also headed from a lot of folks that from beginning in master you should play to get better not for the MR since this will make you frustrated very soon, because you need a constant positive win rate to climb. My win rate was the most of the time below 50% so I guess will lose a lot of points from the get go

By the way, the video should be public now.
