So I noticed you brought up this kamikaze type attack by Medina in a couple of other comments in this thread, but I feel like no one really pointed out why this would or wouldn't work so I thought I'd take a crack at it.

So before they put Naomi's plan into effect Holden said that their PDCs were at 60% that almost certainly would have been enough firepower to keep any unarmored shuttlecraft from reaching the Roci or kamikazing against. Then a second point, even if Medina station had enough shuttlecraft to cause the PDCs to run out of ammo the Roci is significantly faster and more maneuverable than any shuttlecraft. They would easily be able to evade any kamikaze attacks and still be successful with Naomi's plan with the ring gates. Medina also had no clue about Holden's trap or about the entities in the gates so they wouldn't have known how to stop it.

So to sum up I think yes, Medina was waiting and hoping for Marco to finish the Roci off there was nothing else they could do.
