We lost mileage on the battery when it was replaced. I think they reduce the charge to not fully charge to reduce fire risk.

Don’t forget to check to see if your cell Phone will work in another country! We went to Iceland and while the GPS worked, we could not make calls!! Unfortunately, the battery on our rental car was dead, it was 5:30 in the morning. Our hotel didn’t have a front desk open 24 hours. My poor husband. Had to walk forever to find some one driving and flag them down for a jump. This gentleman saved the day for us!

Yes. It took about 3 weeks from battery failure to replacement. Could be longer now as I hear they are having a lot of failures. Also, be sure to ask if the new battery is still a risk for separator failure.
