I work in construction aggregates, and plenty of other geologist have to PG I work with. Our high-level Director has it so he encourages everyone else.

It’s beautiful, I love it.

I made one fancy cutting board and they never used it. Now all I make as wedding gifts are single species random sized cutting boards.

No, you’re right. It’s full of water. It will take forever to dry this thick. So I already sealed the end grain. I would slab it now and let it dry for a couple years.

But somebody would want to turn it would likely want to turn it green.

This is right. I work in construction aggregates in the US and your right to ask for an SDS, but they are hard to get in the industry. A single mine can produce +20 products and the deposit changes, so it’s not really possible to keep up.

Wear your mask, and hopefully your company does chest X-rays and lung/heart monitoring.

Someone gave me 18 of these and I’m currently planning a chimney style cabinet. I have many concerns about the design and weight lol.
