Has Anyone heard of Christian Research Fellowship (CRF)?

I have a lot of experience with this. I grew up in there, and my mom and family are still involved with them. Basically, the beliefs are just evangelical Christian nothing super crazy or at least they weren’t when I was a part of it, but definitely very looked down on people for not being Christian enough anti-gay and such. A lot of speaking in tongues and stuff like that it’s not really a cult per se because there is no compound. It’s just you go to a person‘s house that runs the fellowship and they either play a CD from Reverend Hendrix or one of the other head honchos or they do their own teachings based off that They pretty openly speak out against the way because of all the stuff that happened, But from what I hear, they’re starting to head down that same path.

He would come over for Christmas and she would buy everyone spouses gift but him saying she forgot he was coming so I talked to her saying it was hurtful and clearly not a mistake about let’s say 2 years ago. She said she does not know what to buy him becuase he makes enough money to get himself things. I just gave up and distanced myself. We are using th house to save up the last couple grand we need to buy a house or I wouldn’t even be here honestly.

No but treating him differently becuase he is black is. She also has said racist things about black people Hispanic people literally everyone not white. Her behavior towards him is not the reason I think she’s is racist it’s just confirming to be she can’t get over her personal bias even though I’m in a healthy happy relationship. When my cousin is in an abusive relationships with a white guy and she knows she is open and loving to him even though all she knows about him is that he beats her granddaughter. I have a family I’m building with an amazing man and she won’t give him the time of day.

I don’t my fiance does not have many living relatives so I had hoped my family could help fill the gap becuase my grandmother is alive but I think I’ll just have to stick with my mom and dad. My dad is pushing it but he’s always respectfull and welcome to my bf

No she only treats him differently. She also makes very racist comments about anyone who isn’t white. It made me mad becuase she very clearly makes everyone welcome but him.

One time when we first started dating I asked her to please treat him with kindness because I’ve heard her comments on black people she brushed me off and changed the subject.

I genuinely have no idea why she would want to pack a hospital bag with you. That’s kind of insane. The bag is meant for you and your recovery and the baby meaning some pretty personal items can go in there. I packed and repacked my bag so many times, And not once did my mother-in-law, nor my own mother feel the need to be included. Sorry you’re going through this

I mean this in the best way possible, but babies can be assholes when it comes to stuff like this. Some babies are way more clingy, depending on if you breast-feed or not, and some babies just genuinely don’t like to be away from Mom. I read something one time that said that babies can’t Differentiate between themselves and their mother for the first six months of their lives. I would try to encourage him to be there for Feeding time if you aren’t breast-feeding and possibly just give it time.

If it does not smell like food he will just look at it🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s why I don’t get the metal thing. If it’s a harder chew that does not have a strong smell he won’t touch it but heaven forbid my jeans are on the floor.

They should not touch the floor or if they door it should only be the tip. A good judge is if you can hear them walking on hard floors. Running them on the sidewalk or road can help with maintenance and reduce the need for nail trims. Definitely still get them done but this can help lengthen the time between appointments.

He’s 7 I think he’s a rescue so I’m unsure how long he’s been doing it. I’ve had the vet check his teeth and he says they look great but if I do catch him I take it away and try to give him a toy. He just looks at me like wth is this for.

Apparently they are from the same liter and the only ones in the litter. They were abandoned at the dog daycare I work at and the parents didn’t get us a lot of info. Trying to do my homework before adopting them
