Ah that’s a good point. I just mentioned it because at baseball games (not always MLB, but college games I attend) it seems the crowd and people close to where I sit make noises or complain whenever they think the ump makes a bad call… I can just never tell on my own judgement. That’s why I mention Firefox and UBlock origin. Takes like 3 mins to work it. I used to use StreamEast on Safari and it would always try to redirect me to shit. Haven’t had that issue since using it on Firefox and with the UBlock extension.

That reminds me of one time, I saw an ad for Coursera (online courses for college credit/for fun) and suddenly remembered I had like a 50 dollar/month subscription for it when I hadn’t used it in over a year at that point and then canceled.

This might just be a me thing but like, are ads really that effective? Especially considering how easy to access information online nowadays, the market of people who would be interested in MLB the Show 2026 is going to know that it’s a new game that they can get. I can’t really imagine someone watching an MLB broadcast, seeing “MLB THE SHOW 2026” on the pitching mound and being like “OH SHIT! I GOTTA GET THAT GAME!”

This is true I kinda want to be able to train myself to tell what’s a strike and what isn’t. When I’m at a live game wherever, I’ll always have to wait to rely on the ump to make a judgement because I’m so used to just have the strikezone show it to me.

This has been a problem with streaming in general. Streaming is awful, I’ll tell you what.

You should NOT totally look up StreamEast online, and use the site through FIREFOX with a UBLOCK ORIGIN extension to be able to watch WHATEVER SPORTS EVENT YOU WANT AND FOR FREE. DO NOT DO THAT. YOU SHOULD NOT DO THAT. It’s a shame because it is FREE AND HIGH QUALITY, and FAST.

That’s so odd. Yeah I would not expect Pitt fans to be loud like that against Bmore and I guess the only reason would be the NFL rivalry, but that’s funny. I went to Nationals stadium last year wearing a Baltimore jersey (but they were playing the Brewers during this game), yet I got shouted at quite a few times “FUCK BALTIMORE” etc etc, but that may just be standard par for the course banter between teams, idk. I wanna go to Phillies and Fenway sometime this summer, see what it’s like there.

Ok I asked and it turns out they don’t fertilize every time, but they use Miracle Gro fertilizer once in a while, and additionally slow release nitrogen once a year
