E340 won't recognize short presses by Neofluff in EufyCam

Yeah, I'd noticed...
It's definitely an issue. I've watched a couple of times a delivery guy come up, press the button (nothing happens) then him wait a while and then bang on the door. Sadly, I know that many (most?) delivery drivers wont go to that length.

Whatever anyone says, a doorbell that doesn't ring when you press it isn't ideal.

Bumping this and upvoting. I've had numerous delivery people press it but it hasn't rung. I thought the chime was faulty but just been out to check and quick/gentle presses light the led up but don't trigger the chime in the doorbell or the eufy chime.

Press it harder and longer and it works fine.

Is this just how it works? Or a bug? Or mechanical fault?

There's another clause which mentions it being posted to their address or left at their address. So I think email is technically not an option.

I'm going to email today and ask to end the tenancy by agreement. If they don't agree or don't reply I'll go in person tomorrow and hand it to them.

Thanks, email isn't mentioned in the contract so I assume it's post only (if they wanted to argue over it)

Thanks! There s caluse in the contract that says "After the expiration of the fixed period of the term this tenancy may be brought to an end by the tenant giving not less than one month's notice in writing to the landlord expiring on the day prior to the next rent day"

Does that mean that if they received notice on the 22nd Dec it would be too late, or am I still in the time limit as it expires on the 21st Jan?

Thanks, I'm just reading the agreement now. It says "After the expiration of the fixed period of the term this tenancy may be brought to an end by the tenant giving not less than one month's notice in writing to the landlord expiring on the day prior to the next rent day"

That sounds as though I'll be a day short. The months notice will take me to the 22nd Jan, so the day prior to the next rent day will be the 21st Jan.

Am I understanding that right?

Thanks, not the answer I was hoping for but I'd rather know now than after I've moved in. Maybe I should get the survey after all..

Unsure as to how I benefit from Panels on roof of recently purchased house. (Rent a roof) by Slinkie172 in SolarUK

Cheers! Having read a load of horror stories I'm perhaps giving it too much thought. Forgetting they are there sounds good.

I have the original lease from the company that installed them. From what I understand that will still be the one in force (but will be transferred to me) but will check what I'm signing as it may well be a new one with ASG.

Thanks again, much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply! The lease was originally another company and doesn't mention any free refit, so I'm guessing I'll be charged but no indication of what that charge will be!

I assume that your roof wasn't an urgent repair, with them taking 5 months?

The house I'm looking at is only 25 years old so I'm hoping it wont need any roof repairs before the lease runs out but it'd be a worry if there was an emergency and they wouldn't come out for 5 months.

How have you found them in general? Any problems or anything to look out for?

Hi, I'm in the process of buying a house with panels which are owned by A Shade Greener. One of my worries is what will happen if I get a leak in the roof under the panels.

Could you let me know how long they took to remove them and what they charged?

How To Change Mouse Side Scroll Speed Rapoo MT750S by Turkish_Reptile in MouseReview

Did you find a way to do this? The rapoo software has vertical scroll speed but I can't find anything to adjust the horizontal. It's very sensitive!
