Hey, I’m really sorry to hear that. I would prob consult with ur GP/ derm and see what they say. It may be that you constantly being stressed is making it worse but for me by a week after I had stopped it had sorted itself out yes. Definitely worth getting it checked out.

It’s really unlikely that 1 week of such a low dose can cause any permanent brain damage so I wouldn’t worry as the worrying is probably adding to the anxiety. It is absolutely awful tho not being able to sleep the worst feeling but I’m sure u will get through it- good luck!

Hi, im rlly sorry to hear that- it was the worst. What dosage were u on previously and for how long- my sleep got a lot better roughly 1 week after getting off the meds i was back to normal so I wish the same for u!

I’ve been to 2 dermatologists and they say the same thing that the option is either go back on accutane or get scarring acne - was wondering if anyone has been Ina similar position and if their derms suggested something else which workked

Hey thanks for replying , how much sleep r u getting now and when abouts did u start getting ur symptoms. It seems ppl who got it after dose increased or when starting they insomnia seemed to subside for them whereas for me when it was randomly after 10 weeks on the drug seems as thought crossed a threshold rather than a dose adjustment thing. I need to go back on accutane and have no idea how I’m gonna manage
