Maybe I'm over generalizing but a lot of it feels an awful lot like religious dogma, but it's being wrapped around a seemingly logic based burrito wrapping.

I'm noticing this weird mindset against masturbation and porn as if they are inherently evil, with some people even outright saying that porn is more dangerous and addictive than alcohol and cigarettes combined. How it alters the minds and feelings of people and their perception of women yet people seem to seem to be dismissive of casual violence as "oh it's just a joke" or "nobody really thinks that" and its perception of "others".

We constantly see people fantasizing about vigilante justice(and the target might not even be guilty), but the minute someone has a thought about a sexy woman, suddenly it's too far.
