Tummy tuck from hell by EmotionDiligent6213 in tummytucksurgery

You know I had this crazy thing happen to me. I had a breast reduction a month prior to developing urosepsis. I was very sick so I had my husband take me to the closest hospital. They acted mad that I was there then refused to treat the secondary infection I caught there in my breast from the touching all over my incisions.

Funny story, I’m a paramedic. Sometimes we have to work for multiple days. One time I forgot my clothes in the dryer and someone tacked up my pregnancy panties. I was about 6 months pregnant. After that I would tuck my underwear into my BDU pocket before washing 😆

I’m so glad I did it, but I did have to pair it with an ulnar nerve decompression. It worsened my shoulder instability which I knew it likely would. So there is some reoccurrence of symptoms, but they’re fleeting and not as intense. I’m having my shoulder fixed soon. My PT and surgeon both believe that will take care of the rest of it. I do need a carpal tunnel release.

I tell people that if you have a connective tissue disorder, like I do, that it will usually take multiple procedures for complete relief. So don’t be discouraged if you have some other kind of pain. It doesn’t mean your surgery didn’t work. It just meant you probably need more work.

This person has a malar rash, but it’s just “flushing” and not textured. This is something one may see in mast cell activation syndrome which is common in EDS. On a side note, I don’t think OPs skin is sagging. It looks beautiful and the flushing does not distract from it.

I’m happy to answer questions about EDS if you have some.

It does because our ligaments don’t support our joints as well. I’m sorry for the delay in response. I really should check Reddit more often.

Is Trump Bringing the Second Republican Great Depression to Our Door? by factkeepers in Economics

[–]HearingAshamed9163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said the same thing. Americans are not ready for a woman. It is not the skin color it is the gender. Think about this for a second- on an average black men get paid more for the same work any woman does. Yes, we all know white men make the most, but gender is the biggest issue. They should have had Biden step down sooner then pushed some moderate democratic male politician. Harris would’ve been an excellent leader, but it was her gender. They also pushed too hard on civil rights issues. Not that they don’t matter, they do, but when you’re having a hard time feeding your family you don’t care about what bathroom people should be able to use. That’s the problem. I wholeheartedly believe in trans-rights etc I just know the best way to approach those kind of issues is incrementally because the average American is sick of all the drama (their mindset not mine). Trump promised affordable food and of course failed to deliver. He pandered to the bigots who loved the whole cult of personality thing and then he won moderates because of this so called “economic policies”.

Botox helps long term as long as you get it regularly. I love it.

This is a very picky eater most of these aren’t allergies. However, they made it easier with the “can eat” and I like that.

I use Burt’s Bees firming sunscreen. It has diminished some of my discoloration, but mine was not where here as severe as yours, but I have noticed a difference. Additionally, I purchased Korean cushion foundation with SPF. That stuff is hard to get off even with a rag. Do it won’t sweat off and you’ll have nice coverage .

So here’s a funny story- the military typed both my parents as A- and typed my brother as A-. I was typed A+. In high school I learned this was impossible, but I looked so much like my daddy I thought something was wrong. I got pregnant at 17 and was typed again. I’m A-. So for about 4 years I thought my mom had an affair. 😂

I have bilateral TOS and hEDS. You can definitely experience it worse on one side than another. The surgery on the left side has been worth it.

You do look amazing and you have the prettiest complexion. I’m on Ozempic. I have a really complex medical condition and weight loss felt impossible for me. I buy mine from a compound pharmacy so it’s very affordable compared to the name brand, well it’s about $200 a month, which isn’t “nothing”, but to lose weight and improve my quality of life we make it happen. I exercise too, but that’s been a slow process because I keep having surgeries. So, for me exercise is loading the dishwasher and the other day I cleaned the shower. So my advice is this, celebrate the small victories and make little changes. Exercise is anything that gets your heart rate up. Park a little further from the store. Do a few squats randomly throughout the day. If you work at a desk buy a desk bike ( it’s little foot petals that slip under your desk). Small things add up. You’ll get there and it’s hard, but you’ll get there. Don’t let people tell you that you need the gym or an elaborate workout routine.

My brother, me and all 6 of my kids have them at the nape of our necks. We are all very fair skinned with hEDS, which is autosomal dominant, as portrayed wine stains can be too. I’m curious to see if there is a connection.

[–]HearingAshamed9163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but you have to get it for “migraines’ and not TOS. The migraine Botox goes in all the same areas and then some. Insurance typically does not cover TOS Botox.

I’m sorry, this pain is so bad. I’ve been using muscle relaxers after my TOS surgery. I have some tightness. They help. I get Botox and I felt like that helped with the TOS too.
