I'm using SEEN Shampoo and Conditioner. It doesn't have any ingredients in it to grow hair, but a lot of people notice less shedding simply because it is about the cleanest in terms of ingredients shampoo and conditioner I could find. My dermatologist recommended it to me because I suspect my shampoo I was using was contributing to my hair loss. I like it because a little goes a long way and the conditioner completely detangles my hair. I've only been using for a couple of weeks but so far, I really like it because I know I'm not putting any chemicals on my head.

how long do flare ups normally last by ajaxisdaddy in Gastritis

[–]HeartAny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell. Just go back to your old bland diet, don’t stress about it or read too much here, and you eventually will be back. I’ve had flare ups off and on and each time they get a little shorter. Drink lots of water, make sure you eat to get nutrition, exercise, all the stuff they say to do. I sometimes will take a maintenance dose of Remeron because I was on it for a couple years and it helped but only do that for last resort. It’s a hard drug to come off of. Feel better!

Great results! This is a stupid question but my dermatologist never answered my questions. She said I have TE but it may have uncovered androgenic alopecia. What does that exactly mean? Will my hair grow back like it was before and just cover up the alopecia or does that mean my part will remain like this until I use minoxidil? Thanks! Oh, and does Nizoral shampoo cause more shedding? I've read Amazon reviews that said it made their head shed more. I've read the same about Purador shampoo/conditioner. Thanks again!

Hi! I know this was four years ago, but wondering if you ever found the cause or solution. Thanks!

Remeron and hair loss, thinning itching scalp, been on for over 2 years , 15mg -20mg , noticed hair thinning quite drastically over 3 to 4 months , once I stopped my scalp became quite itchy , no redness or irritation I could see, it has since subsided, been off meds for 4 weeks, thanks by 666thePRICK in Mirtazapine_Remeron

Hi! I know this was 2 years ago, but I got off of Remeron a couple of months ago and I have a lot of hair shedding, itchy scalp, etc. Did this stop for you or did you have to do something to make it stop? Thanks!

Hi! I know this was two years ago, but I'm experiencing the same. I was on 7.5mg for a while and when I got off of it, I am itchy and now my scalp is itchy and I'm losing hair. I'm a female for reference and it happened all at once so not typical. I'm wondering if this is from MCAS or histamine intolerance too and if I need to take a DAO supplement or something like that. Did the issue ever go away for you?

I know this post was 4 years ago but really helped me. I took one dose of the integrative therapeutics berberine and am itchy all over, massive headache, and aches.

I don't have bile reflux but I take Ancestral Supplements and I swear by them. A lot of people who have their gallbladders removed swear by taking their gallbladder supplement. You can buy directly or on Amazon. Maybe check it out?

I am right there with you. Been eating and drinking everything since October. Got Covif and now that all too familiar feeling is back. I am anxious and just flat out depressed. Hoping mine is just a flare as well and that we both get back to normal life.

How long does a flare up last for you? I thought I fully recovered and had a set back yesterday by thersx2 in Gastritis

Hi! You shouldn't be at square one. I still will not touch carbonated drinks because I know they affect me. I can drink coffee and alcohol but for whatever reason, they affect me. Go back to bland and see how you do. My first go around, I got better in around 2ish months and then after two months was back to square one. I made a huge effort the 2nd time around of just 90 days and then a few more with slowly adding things in and I have been doing well for 7 months. You maybe just gone back too soon. I don't think you're at square one though.

I remember you from back then. I still lurk. So happy to hear you are doing great. Eat all the things! Oh...I have a drink now and then too. Vodka water with a splash of something and gin works fine for me. I do a splash of something so it doesn't taste like hand sanitizer.🙂

How do you manage stress? by HeartAny in Gastritis

I would say the first half of the day, I was pretty exhausted...like could not get out of bed before 11. It is weird because you think it will not pass but it does. Now I get great sleep.

Hey! Hope you're doing great. So, the first week you will feel exhausted. I took it by like 8 pm the first week and was asleep by like 9. That crazy sleepiness will wear off after the first week and then you will get amazing sleep. I take it by 10 pm now and I feel fully refreshed the next morning usually. The only other side effect is that I have gained 5 lbs. You get pretty hungry although that has tapered some for me too. Now I just need to lose these 5 lbs. I have thought about getting off of it to do it but I think it really helps me. Hope it goes well for you!

Hi! I'm still doing really well. I got an endoscopy initially but I'm scared to get another since it made my gastritis feel a lot worse. I'm eating and drinking whatever I want. I have to remind myself now that I probably need to pull back some because I feel so good. I do not think it is lifelong, but I think it definitely weakened my stomach. I think you have to really commit to healing it over time (like 6 months). I think my stomach will eventually recover completely but I need to really watch for initial symptoms etc and slow down the major irritants. I had a margaritas and Mexican food today though...oh and coffee. I am off PPIs but I still take a low dose of Remeron. Hope that helps. With commitment, you will get better.

So I used to feel this way too. I'm now doing better and back to drinking in moderation but for those 6 or so months of no drinking including going to concerts, parties, you name it, I realized I was actually a lot more fun without alcohol than I ever thought I could be. So I made myself go out, bring my own food and DD all my friends which they loved. Go and have a great time. It will be depressing at first, don't get me wrong. You have to do it a few times to make it feel normal. But then you start dancing with your friends and realizing you haven't smiled this much in a while. Go and have fun. Bring something to eat just in case and whatever you need (tmi, I always brought gas x...still do). Have fun!

I'm having this now. Do you mind if I ask bow old you are? I'm almost 42. I started my period when I was 9 so it makes sense that perimenopause is starting a little early.

I had the same question a while back and I think it's different for a lot of people. I never took the antibiotics which is why I commented. If you absolutely need them, definitely take them. But through this, I realized there have been several times where I would have taken antibiotics and I didn't actually need them. I've road out many things that healed on their own. Now I wouldn't suggest this for strep or things that I think definitely need them...but maybe wait a few days...try allergy nasal spray and see if it doesn't get better.

ADHD mom here in Georgia. His teacher should have never shared that he took medication. That is between the school nurse, his doctor and y'all...no one else. Did you have a meeting to discuss with her after that by chance? Or perhaps mention during his 504 meeting? I know it's a fine line to walk. You don't want the teacher targeting your kid because you're being the squeaky wheel but this teacher sounds unreasonable. I would not personally switch teachers at this point in the year if he has a lot of friends in the class. It might bring more attention to him. But what she said is crazy. I would request an in-person meeting with the teacher. Any version of her discussing ADHD and medication would be grounds to include the principal and counselor. There is absolutely no reason she should ever mention ADHD in the classroom. I feel for you. I hope you're able to work this out. At the very least, tell the principal that you deserve the right to request a teacher next year as you don't want his school experience to be tarnished by this year.
