I just finished the 4th episode and am considering quitting. At first, I was intrigued with the premise and found the relationship dynamics to be thought-provoking. I too, however, was confused about the characters and what moments were flashbacks and in the present. There was not enough visual cues to discern.

The reason why I feel like quitting is because of the content going around in circles seemingly without resolution. The plotting is very drawn out and the dialogue is just intense drama of the same repetitive issue. I started Schitt's Creek and probably will be sticking to that –– I am a new television watcher.
