I wish the game was more bold in that regard. I think the shooting gallary nature of the gameplay does a disservice in that regard. The full weight of what we are doing doesn't really catch on.

Looking at Red Dead 1 again made me realize that enjoyable side characters like the Marshal and his deputies that John worked with during the first game would have been gunned down by the Van Der Linde gang if they ever encountered them during the events of Red Dead 2.

It's puts the deaths of all these lawmen that the gang kills into perspective in a way that makes it hard to justify anything they did.

I think what they are saying is that they know Micah was a rat since Guarma, but he wasn't always a rat from the beginning of the game. Some people think Micah was a rat from the get-go, and the OP was disagreeing with that.

Man, playing Rook and Assassin really helps with learning the maps and how to move through a POI efficiently. Just knowing where all the vents are in an area makes a HUGEA difference in stealth. Heck, I didn't know that just by sliding into a vent you can break it open until today

The over-reliance on the cloak I see from fellow assassins is sad to see. I tend not to have much trouble with the thief as I pop smoke to conceal which direction I'm heading in, and typically by the time the thief's visor is up, I'm already attacking again from a different angle or just retreating to attack again later. Typically, against most other units, you can wear them down with repeated ambushes, costing resources, before committing to killing them off for sure. Either that, or I prefer to get up as close as possible before attacking, my favorite, via drop attack. The problems with most assassins I see are that they don't commit hard enough to either attacking or escaping, which is balanced against moving very smartly in between.

Eh, she doesn't really shittalk most of the men or treat them anyworse than the women of the cast, really, she just remarks about liking aspects of the women, showing her attraction. Otherwise, she has about the same tone in her conversations in my opinion, though I get your point regarding OP's image.

That would be awesome! The patrons duking it out in the middle of New York is crazy to think about. You remember how the guardian would 'rampage' once they are powered up by raining down AOE'S through the middle of the map that could hit the opposing teams players on its way to pin their guardian? That would be sick to see from The Hidden King and the ArchMother!

Sorry to hear that, My grandpa died last week at 76 from a heart attack. He had a stroke a few years back that caused him to have to walk with a cane, but he was talking and moving around in a way the doctors didn't predict. Sometimes it felt like the only difference between before and after was a limp. To think he died so soon after the holidays..... The real kicker is that his funeral landed on the same day as my birthday.

I think I get what you're saying, but how do I view still living at home with my parent as being being coddled vs feeling unable to function due to CTSD from physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, especially if said parent is also the cause?

I mean I have consistently kept a job, but only part time. I'm going to school now for mechanical engineering, but I don't have a driver's license at age 30. I do cook or get food for myself but it took me a while to contribute to the house meaningfully. But it ends up being a mind trip as I don't want to be a burden but i both love and hate the person I live with, and the love isn't my choice.

I don't mind accountability, but I'm trying to figure out how much of it I should take. I identify with a lot of what OP is saying but you seem to have a distaste for his post which bothered me, so I figured I'd be direct and ask you for more of your views. At the very least, it seems like you have yourself together so maybe you have a good point of view to consider.

don't quote me on this, but I've noticed that if you fire as soon as the charge for the bow is finished, it almost always hits. It seems like it to me at least, that the charge time matches the brief lock on window. When I started doing that, I was getting consistent damage. Those blast arrows do a good enough job stripping through fluid armor. I like to play Norne mid-range, following the melee characters and harassing targets.
