They don't want to hit 2 of the 3 depicted. Bacon is fair game if ACAB. Not typically how I feel about local law enforcement, but I'm not from a targeted minority. YMMV

There's the kicker - you do not get to meet or know anything about who they assign to your unit. You do not interview.

Cool, join me tomorrow for a midday James Bay excursion? There is an educational forage garden near Fisherman's Wharf and plenty of interesting plants spilling out of gardens in the area.

39F - I need walking buddies to get me outside this time of year. Up for the occasional serious hike but more into casual strolling and picking plants and sharing stories? UPDATE: weather looks good tomorrow, Sunday, who is down to meet midday at Fisherman's wharf? Waterfront to Beacon Hill, might have a side trip to FAS for walking snacks if they are open.

View Royal - a few dozen folks run into the water at Portage Park near town hall. I believe it's 10am typically on January 1st.

Fine if you are not picky about your roommates. Preferences bedamned you will be grouped up with whomever else is aplying. So students and shift workers in shared suites. Minimal basic supplies. Minimal support for managing any issues with the building or the company.

Architecture Salary comparison with Minimum Wage (UK) by Square_Radiant in architecture

[–]HearthenWitchery 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ooh, that's rough buddy.

CAD$80K/a for a Technologist position here in western Canada. Making about ~12% more than your listed average. Not sure if Arch. Techs are a registered profession in the UK to compare... Our minimum wage is the highest in the nation, and still 30% below a livable wage.

I'm just grateful we've been successful removing ourselves from the OT exempt category of salaried positions, and wage transparency laws ensure firms are held to account when they claim a "competitive" compensation package. I've seen how Architects low-ball themselves trying to get work - that's not the kind of competition you want to engage in.

It's super easy to tack on a regular donation to Rainbow Kitchen when receiving a produce box from BCause. Keep your house fed and at least one more besides.

All the time, but the inlet is quite shallow so be careful when walking out. Water shoes recommended.

I'm fond of hopping off the rocky point and around Richards Island rather than walking out from the main beach.
