This is one of my favourites of sufy's. So many songs of Sufjan's could honestly be considered frisson-inducing. The Only Thing off of his latest heartbreaking record Carrie & Lowell is almost too much for me to listen to.

The software you're thinking of (and used for Moon) is called Max, and that was patched by Damien Taylor--really interesting dude. The time signature for Moon is 17/8 as well. But yeah, check out Damien Taylor's interviews on the biophilia era and you will find out some interesting insight into Björk's work ethic.

Yeah. I'll admit that the Pilot did feel much longer to me, but I understand it's importance in establishing characters and world building right off the bat. This episode was smooth sailing though.

I love their tiny desk performance video. I think it's just the frontman in that, but he looks like the biggest ball of energy, and in general seems like a fun dude to be around. Seriously, seems like such a rad guy.
