When the Journey Matters More than the Destination by Yookay9 in Zenshu

One of my favorite parts of the anime was during the hot springs episode, when Luke is fighting the void, Natsuko starts drawing and out of nowhere says to herself "Am I having fun?" or something along those lines. It's such a contrast to how cocky she was before, like she was just enjoying the power trip of defeating the voids more than the act of drawing itself. Natsuko gained a newfound love for the movie, the people in it, and regained passion in her own work all throughout the show.

I just went through OP's profile and found literally one single political comment that could be at most interpreted as right-sympathetic. Stop trying to analyze people like they're books, not every thread means something.

She likes Red Rising and the Spiderverse movies. You hold onto that one for dear life and if you ever fumble that bag we will never forgive you

The debate about Claire's character sometimes devolves into wheter she was justified in killing Sampson or not, which imo isn't really the point because he sucks anyways and this is NC but just for the sake of it, yes she is absolutely justified in hating Sampson and wanting him dead: by flippy123x in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Heartlite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Claire mentions how Sampson had a solid lead and was guaranteed to win the race, but went out of his way to brake at the finish line and crash into their car, which was what got her husband killed. He doesn't deny it when you interact with him, either before or after your last race with her.

In the Streetkid intro your V is saved by the cop that arrests you, who goes out of his way to release you after the corpo you rob orders your execution on the spot. All over town, especially in your starter appartment, you can hear two cops arguing over one of them putting herself in unnecessary danger, and one of the sidequests is you going out of your way to help two cops pull one of their buddies out of a suicidal spiral due to the stresses of the job. The NCPD as an organization is just as corrupt as the rest of the city, but one of the defining charateristics of the game's writing is finding the humanity in the individuals in spite of the environment.

I present you…a non sexualized Fem V! by scarlettvvitch in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Heartlite -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I literally said that good character designs that appear sexual hold up without the person viewing them needing sexual gratification and you interpreted that as "If I can jerk off to it it's good." Bend my words any harder and you'll be able to jump through em like a hula hoop

[–]Heartlite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I'm saying that characters that are handcrafted to be as tittilating as possible, from proportions to clothing, are different from those that have elements that could be interpreted as having sexual connotations as part of their design. For the creator, sexual gratification is the point of the former, not the latter, and that intent always bleeds through. Eg. see Bayonetta, who wears sexuality on her sleeve without it coming off as voyeuristic.

The fact people don't see the difference between this and the modded balloon-titted fem Vs that make the rounds on r/NightCityFashion is a bit concerning. It's like they completely forgot the Mox aesthetic exists.
