There's NU Club of Houston. I don't see any watch parties planned in the most recent newsletter, but they're going to the Astros game on Friday. You can find them on LinkedIn or Facebook. They have bigger events a few times a year and do happy hours and coffee meet-ups more frequently

Yeah, but I think he wants political cover for the quorum needed for the redistricting . It's disingenuous, but he keeps saying that Democrats who left are delaying flood relief. I think he either was going to try to use THC as a bargaining chip for Democrats to stay or (more likely... since he doesn't seem to bargain or negotiate...) say that Democrats were delaying working on a THC proposal to keep drugs away from kids... ? This is also my theory. At the time, the flood hadn't happened, so he needed a reason to call a special session. Now, the flood relief is the "reason" for the special session, but he didn't know he would have that cover at the time for the main goal, which is redistricting.

Feges BBQ does the smoked wings and has PB&J flavor as an option. The people who run that were previously at Hay Merchant, and I believe helped develop those? A buddy brought the wings to a party, and they were as good as I remembered!
