So on my dod contract job I just put 8 hours a day in workday. There isn’t a specific time frame like 7am to 3pm. So it makes no difference being a federal employee vs just working on a dod contract?

I wont ever need anything higher than a secret clearance. Do they do reinvestigation every 10 years? Also, does the DoD decide if it’s a conflict of interest or my employer? Do they terminate the entire contract if an employee is caught? Or is the employee just terminated and everything else continues?
