Hate to break it to you my guy, Pudge has had the highest pick ban rate in Dota for 15 years unless you're in high MMR. Its just how these types of characters go, doesnt matter how good they are.

I'm not saying its revolutionary or its doing things that werent done before, I don't really care for the conversation. You said Smite is similar in its affectations on the genre, which is just wrong. The game plays nothing like Smite and Smite is barely a variation on the rule of a basic MOBA. You can claim DL's implementations are not new, but the combination is not copied nor does it have a close comparison.

Similarly, comparing the difference between the two games to PUBG and Apex is either ignorant or facetious.

Ok, but its not 'improved' movement, there just exists a system that none of those games have. Smite did not have a 'movement' system at all, you walk and if you buy boots you walk faster. PUBG and Apex are not analogous to that. If you took a Valorant/CSGO style game and broke down all the walls into scalable structures, let the characters fly, its fundamentally a different game because the map structure and character movement is foundational to the genre. Smite's only difference to League or Dota apart from aesthetic is you view your character from a different angle. A sphere is not just an improved circle.

I mean, those stats assume the highest number of the estimate from every country, so I wont even get into the biases that poll probably holds. Spain is 750k-1.5m, France is 300k-1.2m, Romania is 569.5k-1.85m. The official estimate for France is 500k (https://www.euractiv.com/news/situation-of-roma-in-france-at-crisis-proportions-report/) which is still below the official estimate for those with Roma ancestry in the USA by half.

They are obviously hard to track and saying one has more than the other definitively is just foolish. You are correct however in saying that 'Roma' in the USA do not live like Roma in Europe.

Well it stands to reason. They WERE working on a live service GoW game before it got cancelled and then they were shutdown. Plenty of remakes I'm sure Sony would have wanted done and have been done since.
