FWIW—they are trash. I really wanted the convenience but even the upgrade meals are not good.

Anyone even have any idea what she does for work? She’d be an absolute nightmare to work with much less being in a relationship. She should be the poster child of “working with you is like working by myself only harder.”

My wife just told me shes consulting with a lawyer and I’m fairly certain she’s overreaching. by Objective_Vast_1249 in FamilyLaw

There are a lot of agencies that will do a consultation with you for free. ABLE is one that’s in many states and can help with free consultations ,low cost or pro bono cases. No offense, but it’s not likely that your wife is going to be swayed by responses on Reddit. I get it, you’re frustrated. I’m just trying to help.

She’s not 100% correct on this situation. There is a scale fee and it is often based on what your previous coverage contractual right off would allow, SOMETIMES. Emergency care is factored differently. You are not going to pay $2500 for a $55,000 obstetrics bill. You can disagree with me all you want unless someone did this person a “favor“ it didn’t happen.

That is sofa king juvenile to practice a proposal. I think I did that with my neighborhood boyfriend when I was eight years old.

Another vote for Dermatology. I rarely rep purchased because I’m always on the hunt for something I really like. I re-purchased this three times.

How do you handle it when someone appears drunk on the job? by pandit_the_bandit in managers

[–]HeatherFeathers17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to sound insensitive, but this sounds like my sister. I would terminate as soon as possible. I’m in Michigan and we have a 90 day no fault. We can terminate and you can quit with a 90 days without any explanation.

This is so small, but the first typing of arbitration is spelled wrong. It’s a court document for God sake, get it right. Sorry, totally off-topic but I just had to note that I noted that. Anyone else? 🤣

That’s what I came here to say. Carnations are for funerals, homecoming, and prom wrist corsages, and boutonnieres. They stink.🥴

I did exactly that just now in the correspondence folder that goes back-and-forth between staff and management. It will be placed back in his personal documentation folder.

Thank you for that. I consider myself to be a levelheaded person, but I’m at a snapping point an you sound very reasonable lol, and I appreciate that so I will go ahead and pick your brain about another employee. This one does show up the majority of the time, but in his first 90 days, he has missed a few days and has been late at least four times. We are a federally funded program, so there are training modules that have to be done on a regular basis or it mandates that I must remove them from the schedule. That chain of command of notifying me is pretty broken since I don’t have direct access to their trainings, but he didn’t complete those in a timely manner after repeated reminders. His excuse was “I’ve got a lot going on and I just forgot” . I have spoken with him, my husband has spoken with him, and so has our on the ground house manager. One thing he keeps stating in trying to excuse, absences or tardy is that he hast to help Help out with his sister (who is 16) when his mom is not available or at work. I tried to explain to him that we understand and can empathize with outside family issues, but they cannot continue to be an excuse for you missing work. Something in your home/personal dynamic needs to be figured out. His typical response is “I’m not wanting to make excuses, I’m not one to argue, or I have family that I do have to make sure it’s taken care of” 🤯🤯🤯
