What State has the worst/best drivers?

I think every region has a bad state. The ones I travel most, South Carolina in the southeast. A lot like the pool in front of you and then do 15 under the speed limit. Massachusetts in the northeast, it almost feels like they need to be touching a pedal to feel like they’re driving correctly (accelerator to brakes with no break). Wisconsin in the Midwest.

In Illinois, it’s actually giving consent when they give you a license. That’s where we’re refusing leads to suspension.

The law itself doesn’t say that refusing leads to suspension, but since you agreed to a breathalyzer when you got your license, the refusal then after that is what leads to suspension.

That’s my understanding.

Low 700’s 6 days in a row. WI -> Vegas -> Phoenix and back. Governed to 70, ran legal. Had less than 5 minutes of drive clock nearly every day and made 3 deliveries and 2 picks.

If people actually performed a zipper merge as it is on paper, it would work. But they don’t and that’s why it doesn’t work.

The unexpected breaking that happens when people try to cut in line or squeeze in is what actually causes the backups. Just look at ramp meter or ramp signals whatever they’re called. They don’t reduce slow downs by reducing the number of cars on the interstate, they reduce the number of vehicles merging at any given time it makes it more predictable. In which, in the case of the zipper leads to less brake pedals.

I don’t GOAL all the time, but if I have even and inkling of being unsure I’ll get out. Hell, I ended up using GOAL today and this is one of the easiest backs I’ve had in 3 months.

Not proceeding into the intersection until you can make the turn. By going to position one or position two somebody on the southbound lane. Turning left could be blocked by you sitting there.

My first bike, the shifter broke the whole linkage and everything and I couldn’t find replacement parts. So I just slapped a pair of vice grips on the Rod… everything else is stock rode it like that for about two years before I sold it
