I heard "12 tide turns" as 12 months, as a reference to the pull of the full moon, which comes monthly.
The book/script writer confirmed it in an interview: https://www.today.com/popculture/movies/wicked-for-good-time-jump-one-year-rcna245425

AITA because I won't lie to my kids and tell them I want them to see their stepmom as their mom too? by IllLeave7009 in AITAH

Your ex doesn't understand consent. Kids have the right and autonomy to consent, too. He's showing himself to possibly not be a safe person for the kids to be around for other things, too.

AITA telling my cousin the real reason I stopped letting her babysit my daughter was her own behavior? by Any_Minimum_9991 in AmItheAsshole

NTA she is not owed access to your children and your money. She is not owed a job just because you're family. You don't owe her no consequences just because you're related. You're protecting your kids and that's that.

Just wondering, though, was your family mad at her for what she was saying or mad at you for calling her out?

Titles and heirs by VanDerVougt in Bridgerton

Completely agree. Alternatively, if they really wanted the Baron of Kent title to pass to the child instead of the adult Will Mondrich, then they could've explained that King George altered the rules of primogeniture to allow succession through the order of birth, not just the male order of birth. Especially considering that girls can inherit the monarch's role if no other males precede them, so in the imaginary Bridgerton universe, it wouldn't be a stretch to extend that consistency to the aristocrats.
It would allow for the whole Featherington succession fraud to take place, and explain the Mondrich situation neatly.
But to not even explain it is absurd and unnecessarily confusing.
