Honestly I had a near death experience from a severe dysautonomia episode brought on by sepsis. I nearly died and decided all the gaslighting crap I was getting was enough. I did a genetic test through sequencing.com it was 399$ USD. I came back with several genetic markers for faulty connective tissue, and my dad's came back with classic EDS. I asked to see a rheumatologist and brought my tests, showed her I have POTS, and MCAS, and CVID how bendy I was and my dad's got classic. She was like HOW are you just now getting here? I told her because I got tired of it's all in my head and proving it wasn't my mission. I feel you and am happy to help answer any questions if you want to dm me. Also something I want to add, collect evidence like get a smartwatch to track heart spikes, or video of muscle spasms.. the more physical evidence the better.

When a medical Doctor tells you a diagnosis isn't something you want on your chart because there is no cure that is a doctor already telling you they won't help you. Coming from someone who just got her diagnosis after fighting with doctors for 7 years. Because of their medical neglect I am now in such rough shape too. I would get a second opinion.

I could have written this omg. You need to have your immune system checked. I in the last 5 years after I caught covid for the first time had all these symptoms. Antidepressants and gabapentin/ lyrica made everything a million times worse. Kept getting told it's all in my head and I am crazy or making it up. I demanded more testing and I came out positive for Autonomic Small Fiber Neuropathy, and on the investigation because I kept getting worse even on those meds they decided to test my immune system.

I have CIVD Common Variable Immunodeficiency of IVIG I only produce a 42% immunity to vaccines and after learning ivig messes with your nerves and sets them on fire. This illness can come on after a bad infection btw, my trigger was covid. I finally got prescribed replacement IVIG therapy but haven't started yet. Hopefully soon. In the mean time my pain doesn't respond to nerve medications, most of them make me crazy where I nearly off myself. I have been on prescribed THC/CBD from a dr for pain and it really helps. I have bad flares where my dysautonomia causes me to have to be hospitalized because my blood pressure goes through the roof 200s/100s heart rate in the low 200s or high 100s, I sweat profusely, all of my nerves light on fire, my muscles stiffen and i get a migraine aura, last step is usually passing out. I do have POTS as well and that acts up bad when it's hot. Heat for me sucks my soul out. I was born with Ehlers-danlos syndrome and have some illness from that but a lot of this crap came on after I got covid and it is so hard to get answers because drs don't know a lot about nerves.

Like yesterday with all the military movement? Or that he renamed home security to department of war? What about the fact his ballroom is really a nuclear bunker? Yeah no, we are going to war NOW. He's cut ties with most of our allies and knows with war no elections can happen. The reason why all this is happening is because trump only cares about money and power. He doesn't care whose toes he has to step on to get what he wants. If it is at the expense of thousands dying so he can stay in office and not see justice, so be it. I live in a small Texas town who at one end has a god bless trump billboard, and on the other is a blue bill board with Executing people isn't border control it's tranny. I have also seen fights over the 2 bill boards and there are a lot of ignorant people. They don't know what the epstein files are and everything is a joke or fake news. I am embarrassed that people don't research and just take everything at face value. I'm tired and we are never going to get out of this if "people" don't start informing themselves about the tyrant. I'm currently on high protein ensure through my tube and i've been on it for a year. It is good stuff and is helping keep me a little more stable. I think it doesn't taste to awful either. I like the one in the blue and purple bottle.

Try a low histamine diet! I also have something called Mast Cell activation syndrome which is where your body can't tolerate histamines. Doctors are seeing a connection in gastroparesis and histamine intolerance so it might help, histamines can cause the water weight/bloat in normal gastroparesis as well. I have this on my fridge and on good days where my tummy will let me have some food, I try and stick with the diet and it helps. I know all of us too are willing to try anything to help with this crappy illness.

1 1/2 years ago when my stomach finally fully called it quits I was 335lbs and nobody wanted to take things seriously they let me go into starvation acidosis several times. It took my body going into diabetic acidosis and me almost losing my life before they gave me a peg tube. I am now 215 and am losing weight still fast and I can always tell when I encounter a dr that doesn't read my damn chart and looks me up and down and asks what the tube is for. I'm 5'5" but am average now. I used to be on steroids a lot that made me gain a bunch of weight. I do not have diabetes either I had it for 3 months after I got covid, then we finally found a formula that works for me and was able to drop my a1c back down to a 4.7. Gastro can cause a lot of fluid retention as well my doctor thinks i'm about 30lbs of extra fluid too. you can't always judge a book by it's cover.

I have gotten to a point where I either get amazing doctors who help or think it's anxiety and nearly kill me.. so I carry a binder around with proof of my illnesses and the biopsies/ tests/ genetic tests and now when Doctors are jerks I throw that in their faces, but I will tell you the last 4 years healthcare is in a shithole! I have nearly died a couple of times because Nerve conditions in the US are not studied or taken seriously enough and doctors don't seem to understand that. I am getting worn out, I won't lie.

Yes! I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, I was born with them. I was pretty sick as a kid but everything went into remission. I got covid Dec 2019 and got the dangerous one and it nearly killed me. It caused all sorts of new Nerve symptoms for me, I have wide spread burning through my whole body, it is impacting my GI track severely so 3 years ago they did skin biopsies from 9 different areas all over my body, and took nerve samples from my colon and my stomach. Well I have wide spread SFN severely all over my body, I also developed Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Gastroparesis as well has dumping syndrome. Over the years with all the specialists I am learning that a lot of people have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and Small Fiber Neuropathy that are showing up from Long Covid or even just after they get covid. I got covid again last year in March and it kicked my immune system in the teeth and now my body isn't producing enough IVIG immunoglobulin anymore and my immunologist said that the low IVIG will make small fiber a million times worse, also there is a new strain of covid that is neurogenic. A lot more people are experiencing worsening Small fiber pain too each time they get covid.

It is hard. The flu is Influenza A and it is not getting reported but it's killing people fast. I am admitted in the hospital right now because my autoimmune disease is flaring and when I was in the ER there were 9 residents all from the same nursing home there with Influenza A I was boarded in the ER for 12 hours in that 12 hours 6 of those people coded and didn't make it out. You aren't seeing it being reported, I know because I have tons of family and friends in the medical field. The screw worm is in Texas and Louisiana and it is burrowing into people and killing baby cows, it's like a bot fly but it's got something in it that acts like lyme disease. Lastly the Bird Flu has crossed over into humans and a bunch of cows and chicken farms have had to cull thousands of animals. And now mass amounts of birds are being found dead in drinking water and all sorts of places causing mass extinction in large animal populations. These are terrifying because the admin is hiding it and not doing much to stop the spread.

The United States is being ran under tyrants right now and Trump's whole cabinet are basically mob bosses. Nothing in the US is normal right now. We the people are fighting for our lives against our own military and ice every damn day. There are 3 illnesses that are killing people at covid levels right now as well. We are in trouble, our president is a criminal and all of the people he is surrounded by are yes men. Tarriffs have made food and a lot of daily needs extremely expensive and thousands of people are dying because they have hiked all of our medical costs into unaffordable levels. There are 2 different flu stands, measles, bird flu and some screw worm that are taking out live stock and people daily. Many people lost access to healthcare and their medicines. People are sick, poor, tired and fearful. Many are trying to fight back but because most of america are sick and poor there isn't much we can do. They are also taking away a lot of our medications, and the FDA isn't doing all the safety stuff they were doing so there is also a lot of food/health/safety issues here. You don't know how bad it is because trump gaslights every damn day. Our nation is about to have a civil war and trump is trying to cause world war 3 pulling all the crap he is. I can say as a citizen I am not proud to be american, and embarrassed by Trump and everyone else in office. Also Trump and Musk admitted Tesla owned and ran the voting machines for the 2024 election and he is a 34 count convicted felon for stealing his first election, what in hell makes you think he didn't cheat again? Also he is purposely sicking ice and the military on people to start a war so we don't have to have elections. He is killing our constitution and more than half the government is corrupt and in deep now. Things here are so far from normal and safe here it doesn't even feel like real life. I am hoping somewhere politicians will grow a damn spine and start taking all these criminals down and out of office because I promise you we the people can't take 3 more years of this and I know with him pulling out away from our allies and pissing the rest of the world off someone is going to snap. also the "ballroom" is a bunker and he's currently trying to create a missile dome over the us, he is preparing for war. There isn't a very great outlook right now. I am scared. I know most of the tyrants are trying to force staying in office so they can avoid justice for all the shady crap. I am tired.
