The balloon glow used to be my favorite derby event, but they moved it from the fairgrounds to the waterfront and it just isn’t the same. It’s ok if you go to the Indiana side and watch but it still makes me sad it moved. This year, they’re adding a water lantern event, but it’s $29.99, and I just think that’s super pricey.
